I live in SF and love it... must move to SD (Marina) and am sad... please tell me the goods.? -

I will not have a car will be looking to get a job and get into school again perhaps as well. I have a house in AZ that I will be trading out for a condo at The Pinnacle (other suggestions?) possibly since i do not wish to live in AZ (grew up there) and SD is closer for family than SF plus cheaper to live and better weather. those are the only positives so far and I am sad and scared to be quite honest. I have moved knowing no one so many times and just not wanting to again but... must for family-sake.

Disneyland. Famous (to me small just because it s the only zoo I ve been to)zoo. Includes pandas. And most animals are not kept in a glass place, sometimes no fence or wire just open sky area for animals. Legoland. Mexico. Ucsd.Good luck

What to wear to washington dc? -

I am going to washington dc with chorus. i dont know what to bring. should i bring pants or shorts, or both. I am going in december. whats your weather normally like then? should i wear flip flops, or sneakers? We are going to sing at the pentagon, how formal is it there? PLEASE HELP ME!

The temperature will be in the 30s or 40s, and windy. Forget about bringing shorts and flip-flops--it will be too cold for them. You ll want long pants and a heavy coat plus gloves. The teenage girls tend to wear Ugg boots, which are warm and pretty comfortable. As for what to wear while actually at the Pentagon, your chorus director should tell you what the outfit will be. In general, performances in Washington tend to be more formal, like wearing white shirts and dark pants.

Well the pentagon is usually very formal so nice clothes is a must, it does get quite cold in December but it doesn t tend to snow, so just bring what your comfortable in and also back-ups in case it does get cold.

The pentagon usually requires more formal dress. It s usually quite cold in december, but snow is rare... if you re going to be walking around the city, sightseeing, etc. then sneakers are a must.

My husband and I. will be traveling to NYC in May with 2 teenagers and a 6 year old. Any suggestions? -

How do i take the train from Harvard,Illinois and get it to drop me at the Navy Pier or anything close to it? -

I want the train to drop me off as close to Navy Pier as possible.

I look up your trip information...you will have a long ride, but you ll have to get on the metra station in your area thats going to take you to the Ogilvie Transportation Center located at 500 w Madison st....in downtown chicago...and from there you ll have to get on the CTA BUS 124 (Navy Pier) and it s gonna drop you off less than a mile from Navy Pier (Landmark) you ll have to walk the rest of the way!!!Good luckCTA BUS ROUTE #124 operates daily and the bus stop in the same area as the Ogilive Center.

Take the metra train UP-NW to olgilvie in downtown and then take the 124 bus at Madison and Canal which will take you to Navy Pier.

not possible, you ll have to take the grand buss to get as close as possible

Buying phones/electrical items off the Orlando-in-mall-stalls, is it a good idea? -

I live in uk and last time I was over there was all these wee stalls with phones or cameras ... And thy are usually ALOT cheaper than the usual price ... Are these fake goods? Should I buy from them? Will the phones work in the UK?

The reason they are cheaper is the quality is not as good. These are factory seconds. In Orlando you can find factory outlet malls that sell everything from shoes to TVs. They are real but they have minor defects in the quality.

The phones should work in the UK but you may need to pay to have them unlocked, about 10. The real issue is what do you do if it breaks or doesn t work when you have been back in the UK for a few weeks. Most international brands do not warranty goods outside the country of sale. The store is unlikely to respond to calls from so far away. How will you get redress?

Are there any free tutor in rhode island or really cheap? -

its for a high school student with government assistance and ideas

There are free tutor pamphlets hanging around the Burrillville library. Dunno if they are still there. But it had an asian girl on the front and a black kid on the back, and they were smiling.

Go to your local Craigslist site and post an ad for a tutor. Either offer a few bucks an hour or offer some sort of barter/trade for their service. For example:Math tutor needed for 15 year old in advanced geometry. Can pay $7.00 hr. Or will barter by washing your laundry 2x per week.Try it. Many people do this. In my area a dentist is offering to extract your wisdom teeth in exchange for carpentry services at his house. There s all sorts of creative ideas available.

Your library may have a free tutor program... check it out and if not ask them if they know any...

Technique used Gateway Arch? -

How did they ensure the accuracy of the construction so the legs would meet at the top?

Here are some websites to help answer that question:http://www.nps.gov/jeff/planyourvisit/arhttp://www.gatewayarch.com/Arch/info/archttp://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/St._Louis_Ahttp://www.gpb.org/gateway-arch-reflecti

It was more of a hit and miss project in regard to the construction. You can find all of the details in a book about the Gateway Arch that was published at Borders or Barnes and Nobel.

A very good architect and engineers who oversaw all the construction.

They started at the top and worked downward. The big problem was making sure both legs reached the ground.

Where can i get a free std test from in duluth ga or lawrenceville ga the atlanta area? -

I would contact Planned Parenthood and the Health Department. If they don t provide free tests, they ll certainly be able to direct you.

About how long would it take with a usa first-class forever postage stamp take to go from trenton nj to bronx? -

The Postal Service does not make any delivery guarantees on first class mail, but with the distance being so short it should be next day delivery.

1 or 2 days, not including Sundays

All letters go first class! One day or two at the most!
