Throwing confetti, or ticker tape, to celebrated to team wining a championship or someone s historic feat, dates back to the late 1880s when office workers on Wall Street will use ticker tape as confetti and toss it out the window to the street below, hence the name ticker-tape parade .Today, due to safety and security concerns, the practice of throwing ticker tape out of office widows has become less frequent. However, the practice is still carried out. The Lower Manhattan business improvement district, aka the Downtown Alliance, handles all the confetti preparation. The Alliance distributes bag of ticker tape, which is blank shredded paper to offices along the parade route. This done by request. The Alliance, with the permission from the building s owner, can also toss confetti off the roof of an office high rise. Sometime the Alliance will use an empty office, as long as the windows could open. The practice of throwing confetti is also use in Times Square, when the clock strikes 12am on January 1st. The folks in charge of the event, the Times Square Alliance, is also in charge of tossing confetti off the roof and windows of nearby buildings.I hope this information is very helpful.Good luckNative New Yorker
Anyone and everyone..the parades pass by office buildings and homes and people enjoy to do this.. it is like a tradition lolbut im pretty sure that the parade has special workers set up on certain rooftops and they end up dropping conffetti at some point just in case nobody does it =D
Well - - -you can put it in an envelope, weight it, and then use the postage calculator on the USPS web site to determine how many stamps it needs. But you would have to go to the post office to buy the stamps.you can put it in a USPS fixed-rate priority mail envelope, and then print a prepaid mailing label from the USPS web site. Of course, you would need to go to the post office to pick up the priority mail envelope. You can also order both stamps and priority mail envelopes via the USPS web site for delivery to your home.
in a package box... whats the weight though?

I can help you here! The ones i like are Caramel Bar at Bellagio, Voodoo Lounge at the Rio and the best after-after hour bar is Drais in Bills gambling hall, the casino doesn t look like it would have such a cool club inside but believe me it does and this is where all the people 3am come to from Pure, Jet, Studio 54, Rain and Body English to kick back and have more drinks, you and your girls will like it!! http://www.drais.net/flash/index.php Lavo is also a good club, if your going NYE they will most likely have some type of package you can buy, depending on the club it can be $100-$1000 entry a person depending what it comes with and the package you choose for what club or lounge you want to go to. I never been to cathouse or Hawaiian Tropic Zone.. I would go with Caramel at Bellagio and then on to Drais at Bills, that will really impress the ladies!!
