What cities in North Carolina would you recommend for me to move to? -

I ve lived in Fayetteville for 18 years (I m 23 now) and my bf and I plan on moving to another city in North Carolina before our 1 year old daughter starts kindergarten. We ve both grown tired and fed up with Fayetteville, not necessarily because of the city itself, but mostly because it s gotten too populated for our liking (over 200,000 people) and we ve just grown bored with it and want to move on to a new place. We do like that Fayetteville is historic, we like downtown, and it is beginning to develop more things like festival park, more shopping, places to eat, etc. but it won t be enough to keep us living here the rest of our lives. It would be nice to find a city that is similar to Fayetteville but not so populated and maybe has less crappy spots. We like parks, fun city events, lots of things to do and places to eat. We don t really need to live in a place that is business-centered. We still want to live close enough to Fayetteville so that we can visit a few times a month to see our friends and family and to attend the festivals Fayetteville has (Dogwood Festival, Folk Festival). I m not too big on cold, so I probably wouldn t like to live in or too close to the mountains. I love the beach but we don t necessarily need to live at one. A place that is not too populated, but not too empty... a good mix between urban and rural (suburban?) ... has lots to offer day and night, all year round ... has a good community with nice people ... is the kind of city we d like to live in in NC.So ... if you have a good idea of what would be the best options for us, please let me know!* So far, I ve been interested in Carrboro/Chapel Hill. I like the kind of town Carrboro is and what it seems to offer (especially the Farmer s Market), and that it s so close to Chapel Hill that we could commute there too and take advantage of what it has to offer too. What advice do you have on these cities?Thank you.

Reidsville is really small but its a great town to grow up in, its really close to Greensboro and you don t have to live in a huge city. Its also really pretty during the fall and spring and its never too hot or cold. Also Brown Summit and Summerfield are in that same region, close to Greensboro..it really is a great place.

If you think Carrboro is good, give it a try. It really is a unique town...you find very few like it in the South. It s the most walkable city in the state too.

DEFINITELY!!!!! Move to Raleigh!

Charlotte can be your next site to build your home or to select one from available plenty. As per the wikipedia, Charlotte has 199 neighborhoods which span from Uptown to Ballantyne. Uptown has undergone a massive construction phase with buildings from Bank of America, Wells Fargo and multiple condos. Elizabeth Avenue has also had large residential buildings under construction. On Kenilworth and Charlottetowne Avenues, near Carolinas Medical Center, the Metropolitan, a major mixed-use project, was recently completed.(http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Charlotte,_

What are some cool places to visit in the US? -

I am in college and have very little money. Me and a few friends are going on a road trip for spring break, and we want some cool places to visit. Any where you have been, any where you recommend! Resturants, hotels, parks, cities, beaches, museums, landmarks, any where! They don t have to be big either, if you have a cool family owned restaurant you love in your backyard, tell us about it! Try to keep it on the east coast and nothing that will cost a lot. Thanks!

Check out the National Park Service s website at www.nps.gov. You can get a NP Passport for about 8 bucks and collect stamps with the date that you were at each park. They re relatively inexpensive (sometimes free) and it s a good way to see a whole variety of things. Some of my favorites have been Mammoth Caves (KY), Golden Spike (UT), Dry Tortugas (FL), Gettysburg (PA), and Lincoln s Home (IL). Of course the Grand Canyon, Yellowstone, and Grand Teton were pretty cool too.

there are quite a few sites that you can search that will likely show you great hotels at the best prices available. check out the website BookMe and you will be able to compare prices on all the reputable travel sites in just a couple minutes. it s very convenient and will save you a bunch of time and money. Also, make sure you buy them online... otherwise they charge much higher fees for phone orders. good luck.

In New York it s beautiful! Make sure to go to Niagara Falls, then in Montana/Wyoming there s the hot springs it s a huge volcano but won t erupt on you and it s like geysers

Boston, Philly, NYC, or Washington DC.

Direction to San Jose Airport? -

Can I get DETAILED direction to Terminal C Parking Lot from northbound 87?Thank you.

After you pass downtown San Jose and Taylor St, you will notice a sign for SJ International Airport. Exist and stay at the 2nd left lane to make a left turn at the traffic intersection of Skyport (the 1st left lane is OK, but it will merge to the 2nd lane after the turn).Just keep staying on the right lane that bring you through Terminal A (and Terminal B - completed and not being used yet). Change lane to the left after you pass an overpass on the left (do not use that overpass). Notice there is an entrance to Terminal C Parking on the left and drive into it.I go to SJ International Airport often and have seen all the changes for the past 5 years, but I only park at the Terminal C Parking once (the first time).1. Ask passengers to call before taking Bus #10 (free shuttle) to the Metro Light Rail Station. And then you go there to pick them up.2. You can stay at cellphone waiting area to wait for the call. The cellphone waiting area is located at Airport Parkway. You can get off at Skyport but make right at the traffic intersection, and then change lane all the way to the left in order to make left at Technology Drive. You will hit Airport Parkway as the next traffic intersection, make left, and find a parallel parking along the curb.

Exit the parking lot and follow all signs to 87. Hwy 87 is PARALLEL to the airport!
