Can anyone tell me about N. Camac St. in Philadelphia? -

I m looking to move there, wanted to know if it s an okay area. It looks a little empty. Anything you can tell me is great.

You re going to have to be more specific than that. N. Camac spans the length of the city in little segments. For the most part it is not in a good area of the city.

Camac St. runs in little segments between 12th and 13th Sts. throughout the city, and not continuously. Generally though if it s North Camac, it wouldn t be in a good neighborhood.

If you live in Austin, TX, where do you go to when you want to go to the beach? What are nearest quot;nicequot; beach? -

We live in Southern California and may be moving to Austin Texas. Where do people go when they want to drive to the beach and go to a nice beach city? I tried looking on google maps and couldn t find any nice looking beach areas, but probably just looking in the wrong area. So, where do people from Austin drive to when they go to the beach?

Well, you have a couple of options. If you truly want sand and surf, then Port Aransas on the Texas Gulf coast is where I would go. It s about a 4 hour drive from Austin - just north of Corpus Christi. Texas Gulf beaches are their own unique animal - they are not as pretty as either California or Florida beaches, but they are all we have so we make the best of them. You can drive right on the beach if you want and the waves, while small, are good for boogie boarding and body surfing. Unlike CA, you can actually swim in the Gulf - the water starts to warm up in late May. If you want pristine white sand beaches, Cancun is an easy plane ride away and there are also direct flights to Florida. If you just want to go swimming and soak up some sun, the Highland Lakes are right here in Austin s back yard. Pace Bend Park has some nice flat sandy areas and protected shallow swimming spots for the kids. It s a nice alternative to the beach.

there are quite a few sites that you can search that will likely show you great hotels at the best prices available. check out the website BookMe and you will be able to compare prices on all the reputable travel sites in just a couple minutes. it s very convenient and will save you a bunch of time and money. Also, make sure you buy them online... otherwise they charge much higher fees for phone orders. good luck.

Does anyone know which hotel is good for a romantic getaway in NM? -

looking to spend a romantic weekend with the hubby. Does anyone know about any romantic hotels that have suites w/ Jacuzzis?? I know that Inn of the Mountain Gods in Ruidoso has whirlpool tubs. Any ideas anyone??

Inn of the Mountain Gods is very nice. Newly renovated, and lots of stuff to do in and around the area, like Ski Apache, the Casino and shopping in Ruidoso. I d pick that place over any other Casino resort in NMI ve also stayed at a place called Posada de Taos in Taos, NM which is a really quaint bed and breakfast, but I don t know how much it cost.

The Tamaya resort just outside of Albuquerque is ABSOLUTELY spectacular!! Its about $100 a night, so I dont know if thats too much for what youa er thinking, but it is nestled in the desert, with spectacular views. The inside is beautiful, and it is a spa also!Hope this helps!
