Best snorkeling spots in the Florida keys? -

I am going to the Florida Keys and am looking for the best snorkeling spots. I went to Bahia Honda and it was ok. Any ideas? Thanks.

I m no expert, but my wife and I took a day trip from Key West out to Dry Tortugas National Park and we had a great time touring the fort and snorkeling. It s the only time I ve ever been snorkeling though, so I don t really have anything to compare it to.

actually my opinion of florida keys snorkeling is that it isnt that great--i ve gone on a tour from key west and thought it kind of sucked--the fish were very few, the corla was not very vibrant, and the water wasnt even that warm--i m comparing this to some amazing spots i ve been to in hawaii and the bahamas...btw, dry tortugas is a good suggestion but it requires a $150 ferry ride to get there and it is just for a few hours around the national park

New York to South Beach Florida.....how long is the plane ride from ny(jfk airport) to south beach? -

I live in florida and arrive at JFK all the time.It s 2:30 minutes, almost approximately. Have a fun trip!

It will take about 3 hours each way, at least.Good luck

Its about 11 hours

Hourly hotels near temecula, ca? -

Is your need to find an hourly hotel have anything to do with your previous question about how to make some fast money?

Not many cities allow these, since they are used by druggies, hookers, and kids who can t wait for their parents to leave town for a weekend. Which one are you?

no hourly rates at any hotel that I know of... but maybe asking this question an hour is too much!I mean how long does it take to get one of them? loloh my bad!

They don t have any of those. You ll have to spring for the entire night.

What should I do? I cant drive.

swim, sand castles, bonfire, bbq, wind surf, surf, Bury someone in the sand, sea shell collecting, read, tan, play beach volleyball, invite some friends and have like a beach party without the bonfire, ummm... yah you can do that stuff lol

Walk/hang out on the boardwalk, swim, walk around to the shops, sand castles, pick up mates, PARTY. Driving is over rated

Look for shells.

Scenic nature winter train or busride from Pittsburgh, PA to ___? -

Anyone know a good train or busride route for a few days between Dec 24 and Jan 3rd? Me and my mom want to have a beautiful, scenic trip through the countryside to see all the beautiful rolling hills of pennsyvania (or surrounding states) and the snowy scenery. Any ideas of where to go? Which routes are beautiful to go on? Is amtrak a good way to travel, or bus tour better, and which ones? Or even just a beautiful place to stay for a few days surrounded by peaceful nature? Thanks.

Trains I can cover. Pittsburgh to Philadelphia on the Amtrak Pennsylvanian. http://www.amtrak.com/servlet/ContentSer You get the Horseshoe Curve outside Altoona, the fabulous stone bridge crossing the Susquehanna River at Harrisburg, The Big Valley outside Lancaster with Amish Farms, Philadelphia Art Museum up on the hill. Beautiful trip, all in daylight. Bus -- not so much. It s the PA Turnpike all the way. And it s a BUS. The other option is the Capitol Limited, Pittsburgh to Washington, DC. http://www.amtrak.com/servlet/ContentSer (Click on the Route Guide) From Philadelphia, you can get a bus up to the Poconos, or to the Jersey Coast. Whatever you do, reserve ASAP. You have picked the busiest season.

Those are peak travel days, and you will pay a lot extra even if you re able to get reservations. They are probably booked up solid by now.

Does anyone have any personal knowledge of good spots to watch the sun rise/set over the Atlanta GA skyline? -

I m looking for a nice, calm, potentially romantic spot to watch the sun rise or set in Atlanta. A particular park.......a spot I can drive up to.....you know, something secluded, but not TOO secluded.

Stone Mountain is a good choice. Another might be the Westin Peachtree Plaza hotel...get a room high on the east side...just open your drapes and watch it in bed. Having a bottle of chilled champagne wouldn t hurt.

Piedmont Park has a nice view of Midtown and I m sure the view at sunset is good. I ve never been there at sunrise but I bet that Centenniel Park offers a great view of Downtown at sunrise.

The North Avenue bridge over the freeway always used to have the best view of the downtown skyline.

If you want the skyline, the best place is probably the top of Stone Mountain.

definitely Stone Mountain

yes in atlanta, ga.
