How long would it take to WALK from Miami, Florida to Louisville, Kentucky? -

My aunt is putting together a power walk for this Summer for her and other people we know because we have some extra weight on us. We re planning to walk from Miami to our hometown of Louisville Kentucky. I know the driving time is around 16 hours, but how long would it take to walk?

14 days, 5 hours, according to google maps. This doesn t take into account any stops for food, sleep, or restrooms. It would probably take about a month.

You can take Amtrak s Adirondack Service from Central Station in Montreal to New York s Penn Station. The one way fare from Montreal to NYC will cost you $62 ($124 round trip) and the trip take about 11 hour each way.I hope this infomration is very helpful.Bonne chanceNative New Yorker

You can take Megabus from Montreal to Toronto and then from Toronto to New York. It s one of the best buses you can be on for a long trip, but that s way out of the way so probably not a great option. If you can get to Albany, you can take a Megabus from there to New York. There are also trains, but they are a lot more expensive. Megabus has power outlets and free wifi as well as really cheap prices. I ve never ridden it, but I ve taken their competitor, Bolt Bus several times and Megabus is supposed to be just as good and they have a wider map.

You can rent a bus depending on how many people you have in the past I have used the company Corporate Express, Inc. their link is below and they have provided me with charter buses that were 54 passenger if you have a smaller group i think they have 25 seater mini bus too.htttp://www.corporateexpressinc.com

i do not recommend the bus, but try greyhound or go to the actual bus station near metro berri-uqam, as for the train, theres information on either the via website or amtrak.com, or go to gare central for tickets, make sure it goes to either the port authority by bus or penn station by train.

Hi everyone, I am totally stressing out with the thoughts of speding money for Hawaii, as this is the? -

The what? Hawaii is my favorite vacation destination. I would go every vacation if I could afford it but I can t and so I save my money until I can. Go to Hawaii and you will see that like most of us you will not be able to wait until you can go again.

My wife and I were in Kauai for our honeymoon. Yes the prices are a bit higher than what we are used to paying back home, but it was not so outrageous that we are bankrupt either. Just know that Hawaii has to import a lot of things so items may cost more. I was surprised that gasoline was not as expensive as I thought it would be. Milk in some places was about $8 a gallon but we went to a Safeway grocery store and bought it for $4 a gallon. Fortunately for us, our hotel resort had a kitchen so we cooked a lot of our meals thereby saving some money. Also I bought a package which included airfare, car rental and hotel so we saved some money there. A vacation can be expensive but it also depends on how careful you are with your money. We went to a timeshare where they try to sell you a condo and ended up getting free tickets on a boat ride.

don t stress. you don t need money in hawaii. that s why they call it paradise. because it s free. you can sleep at the beach for free, under the stars and the ocean breeze. it s very nice. just bring some blankets because it can get cold sometimes. or you can just build yourself a nice apartment, just find some cardboard boxes and some newspaper, and there you go, you got yourself your own beach front apartment with ocean side view! you re going to have a wonderful time! food is free too! like, outside some restaurants, if you look in the garbage cans, you can find some of the best most delicious foods! you won t believe the stuff they throw away! very delicious! You don t need to rent a car too, because it is a small island, so you can basically can walk anyways you please. but if you get tired walking, all you need to do is stick your thumb out at a car, and it will stop and give you a ride anywhere you wish! isn t that great!!no need money! hawaii is a paradise, free for all to enjoy!!

Not sure what you re asking, but Hawaii is the most expensive place I ve ever lived. I imagine it would be much more expensive for tourists, since they don t know the cheaper local places to go to. I ve never paid so much for gas, food, or housing before and I ve lived in Silicone Valley. At one point, I paid $8 for a gallon of milk.

I went to the US embassy today, I had my interview for the Visa (student visa), I had the documents and everything, and the guy that was interviewing me said I was good to go and i ll receive my passport with the visa in 7-10 days. Then he saw that the SEVIS was not paid (I did not know what that is prior to the interview) he told me that it s a fee that I had to pay. He said if I don t pay the fee i won t receive the visa. If I pay the fee should I go back to the embassy, or i just pay and that s it ? I also read that the fee must be paid before the interview, would it matter that I already had the interview, and they have my documents, if I pay now (after the interview) ?p.s they have my I-20, but I have a copy of it (which has the number of the SEVIS, it s required when I pay for it)Thanks, I appreciate it.
