Does Honolulu have a lot of beeping? -

I would like to buy an apartment on Bishop Street on Honolulu. I do like the beeping noise but at night it s nice when its silent but still the occasional honk or so. I hear Bishop Street is very popular. So is there a lot of beeping and traffic on that particular street? If not, what streets do have that type of thing?

People don t generally honk their horns here. However, in Downtown, where Bishop St is, there are lots of garbage and delivery trucks that have back-up beepers. These are usually in the early morning hours, 5-6 AM. There s also a hospital, fire and police departments fairly close by so you may get lots of sirens throughout the day.Look at Harbor Court (Queen and Bethel), Harbor Square (Queen and Richards) or Executive Center (Bishop and Hotel). There are other apartment buildings in Downtown, but these are the ones I m familiar with.

It is very unusual to hear a horn honked in Hawaii. I would get a place no lower than the 6th floor. 10th floor or higher would be better.I would look at the condos at Harbor Square if you want to live in that area. The ones with an ocean view would cut down on the noise in addition to being more enjoyable. The Bus is also convenient, there are at least 10 bus lines that run through downtown. I would move a mile or so away, hen catch the bus with a monthly pass, if you need to be downtown every day.

Elderly parents driving from San Antonio TX to Phx,AZ, wondering road conditions and weather they find? -

I m sure they will stay on the inter sates, just don t know which. Please calm my worries. They went to my Grandmother s funeral, she was 96.

Minimal chance of rain or freezing weather. If they stay on I-10, which is the only logical way to go, they should be fine. Do what I did with my parents...insist that they get (and keep) a cell phone. AT T has roadside assistance available for about $3.00 per month. Peace of mind...priceless!

Should be OK. Like Donna stated stay on IH 10. Tell them to stop often. Overnight also. The motel can look up road conditions if they don t have a laptop computer. When I drove to Las Vegas last year, I bought two cell phones from different companies, I didn t have problems talking in West Texas. We belong to AAA also. The Weather Channel /weather.com and NOAA /noaa.gov are helpful.

I need Help, I need the cheapest tickets from Bogota to Orlando? -

My dad needs to travel to Orlando, to donate to my uncle liquid from his medula, and we need to find the cheapest tickets, to travel in december 14... Please, I dont have any idea to find those kind of sites in the web, can someone help me? We dont have enough money for regular tickets

www.orbitz.com

Really? Well, go onto Travelocity.com, put in your cities, then select flexible dates and that will bring up the absolute cheapest fares offered from Bogota to Orlando. You ll have to see if any of the times offered will work for you.Travelocity doesn t list Southwest, so you d need to go onto their site to see what kind of prices they may have.

If you don t mind carrying a small package weighing about 2 kilos I ll buy the tickets. you ll need to tape it to your leg, but it will be fine.

The place with all the old pinball machines amp; games.? -

One of my neighbors just came back from Vegas. They found a large place, just off the strip, that was filled with vintage pinball machine all kinds of arcade games, many of which you could play. They tell me that it was a store that sold them was well worth a visit. Being tourists, they did not know the street names or even the stores real name other then the pinball place. Anybody know of this place??

Pinball Hall of Fame The PHoF Has Moved To A New Location!1610 E. Tropicana, Las VegasTwice the space / half the distance to the STRIPWebsite: http://www.pinballhall.org/page.aspx?p=1

It is really fun!! I went there for the first time a couple of months ago.It is just off the strip but farther than I was expecting - it s an the corner of Pecos Tropicana. To take a cab would probably cost the same (or more) than a cheap rental car for the day. It s also easy to get to on the bus (take tropicana to pecos) but could take some time to get there.

Yes, it s so cool. My husband and I went there last year. The games are really cheap (often original prices, I think -- like 25-75 cents). We spent a few hours there for not much money and had a great time on our trip down memory lane. It s a little hard to find. We had a GPS in our rental car and drove past it a couple of times. It s not close to the strip. I d recommend getting a rental car.

Pinball Hall of Fame is great but not free

Is Disneyland haunted? -

Just the Haunted Mansion.

Gee, I ve read things on the Internet about needles in theater seats and UFO s. It doesn t make them true. Basically, it s bunk. People with vivid imaginations and too much time on their hands. The only place that s haunted is the Haunted Mansion. 999 happy haunts. Care to make it 1000? If you lag behind, you may not have a choice! LOL

Wow. What s with all these is so-so haunted? Ghosts terrorizing people is FAKE!! There is no such thing as anything being haunted! That s how ghost chasers make money!

oh god another stupid disneyland questionGET A F*****ING LIFE

Lmao if it was haunted it wouldn t be The Happiest place in the world would it?Disneyland is not haunted.

It has a haunted mansion but the ghosts are special effects.

IF it ain t it should be.

What is motorcycle toll for holland tunnel and licoln tunnel ny? -

motorcycle toll

Check out public transportation like buses and trains and ferries. Maybe there is a cheaper way.Maybe renting in NYC would be easier and cheaper.

The air quality in the tunnels is very bad due to the exhaust from all the cars. Cars normally keep their windows closed to keep the air from the tunnel out of the car. Riding a motorcycle in the tunnel, and breathing in the tunnel air, might be bad for your health.

Off peak $5Peak $7This tolls applies to both the Lincoln and Holland Tunnels.Good luck

Planning my boyfriends 21st birthdayy! HELP!!!? -

OK!loli need help =)a great ,CHEAP, amazing vacation spot to celebrate a 21st birthday. preferably with the drinking age of 18. lol.i tried cancun, but it is wayy too expensive, you kinda HAVE to be 21 to do vegas, new york is eh . but they would probably be cheaper than cancun. if any one has any ideas please let me know. thanks!

Cancun has always been less expensive than our trips to either Vegas or NYC. And if you want a drinking age of 18, you ll have to leave the country. Maybe you can look into the Bahamas? Or another Mexican resort - Cozumel, Los Cabos, etc.

As long as you aren t going in winter, you could go to Montreal or Toronto.Cancun shouldn t be expensive - I don t know where you are looking, but there are a lot of discounts on hotels there, especially with the economy the way it is. Also in Mexico, Playa del Carmen is a lot nicer than Cancun - Cancun has huge hotels that are spread out, while Playa is a town right near the beach and is walkable. You fly into Cancun, and it s a 1 hour bus ride.Dominican Republic is also cheap.

Drinking age at 18 would be the midwest not the west

What is there to do in and around St. Louis? -

I m planning a road trip from Chicago to San Francisco and want to pass through St. Louis. Aside from the St. Louis Arch, what else is there to see and do? I m also very interested in natural sites like forest preserves, waterfalls, etc. in Illinois and Missouri.

Forest Park, Cahokia Mounds, Lone Elk Park, Powder Valley, Mastadon Park, Missouri Botanical Garden especially the Climetron which is a rain forest environment, Meremac Caverns near Sullivan or Marvel Cave in Branson, Ozark hills in the southern part of the state and tons of historical sites. Missouri has beautiful parks, streams and lakes. You can check them out with the Missouri Dept of Natural Resources. A lot depends on how much time you have and which highways you are taking across the state (Highway 70 vs Highway 44).

Trail of Tears, Lake of the Ozarks, Branson, Elephant Rock State Park, Mastodon State Park, Suttons Bluff
