Short answer: 8 PMMore educational answer: You need to understand a bit about time zones in the US. We have 4 of them on the mainland (not counting Alaska or Hawaii for the purposes of this discussion): Eastern, Central, Mountain, and Pacific. Eastern time is 3 hours ahead of us, so if it s 8PM on the east coast, it s 5 PM here. For pre-recorded programs, they are generally broadcast in Prime Time, which is traditionally when families used to all sit down together to watch TV. All the stations in a time zone will broadcast the show at a given time. So on the East Coast, that will be 8:00. We ll see it 3 hours later, when it s 8:00 here. However, the central time zone, for some odd reason, always uses the east coast feeds, which means it s only 7:00 in the Central Time Zone (which includes Chicago, for example), when they will show it. I haven t yet discovered why they do that, when all the other time zones broadcast something at a given time (like 8:00). So when they say 8/7 central, that means all the time zones will see the show at 8:00, except for the central time zone, where it will be shown at 7:00. It s a LOT easier just to say Tonight at 8, 7 central , rather than what I just said previously. Got it? Good.-----------I have to disagree with Pup. Unless you have satellite TV where you get an East Coast feed, you re going to be watching it at 8. Time Warner in my area is showing RV from 3:30-5:45.
TNT will air the broadcast twice in the Los Angeles area. Once at 5:00 pm, the time of the live 8:00 pm broadcast from Washington on the East Coast, and again as a time delayed rebroadcast at 8:00 pm. Take your pick.
If you have a cable company that delays TNT broadcasts to air at the same local time as they air on the east coast, then 8 p.m. If you have satellite service and see things while the east coast is seeing them, then 5 p.m.
