The cast of the classic with Natalie Wood and Maureen O Hara was perfect. Flawless.
It s a nice little holiday film, I m not a big fan of Santa Clause, and prefer Christmas films about God s gift to us of his son, however I do agree they are touching.for whatever reason they did not broadcast the 1947 version in Black and White (my favorite), and I don t like it colorized, it looks awful that way, I have seen all of them except for the 1959 version, I also appreciated the 1973 version with Tom Bosley as the JudgeI enjoyed the one they showed today 1994 but none of them hold a candle to the 1947 version, they need to show this, and It s a wonderful life as wellGod bless you Merry Christmas
I like the original black and white version with Natalie Wood the best.
At least it is not It s a Wonderful Life That film makes me want to run away screaming.

No, Stockton is in the Central Valley between Modesto and Sacramento. I can see where there might be some confusion though. It is at the beginning of the delta which ultimately ends up in San Francisco Bay and many people who work in the East Bay live in the Stockton area and commute an hour or two over the coastal mountains each day. But geographically, climate wise, and culture wise it is definitely a Central Valley city.
stockton, and it s sister city, fresno, are the twin jewels california s central valley crown.it s not considered to be part of the san francisco bay area, as it s over 100 miles away, but it s still closer to SF than to LA.
