What is there to do in Santa Barbara, CA on a Saturday? -

I prefer something cheap or something free like nature. We are going there for a day and not staying there.thanks

The mission is free. It s a very beautiful place and is decorated for Christmas. The Santa Barbara Botanic Garden is $8 per person. The Santa Barbara Courthouse has to be the prettiest government building in the entire U.S. Walking along State Street and Stearns Wharf is free. The Natural History Museum is $10 per person and offers plenty for you to do.

The beach is free. So is walking down State Street. Or hiking in the mountains above the city.

We have a great zoo, with an ocean view. It s not free, but not super expensive either.

Best Way from Philadelphia airport to Lincoln Financial Stadium? -

We are flying in for Army-Navy game on Saturday and need to get to the stadium. My dad is old and can t walk very well. Best way? Taxi? About how much? How about getting back to the airport? is there a taxi queue?

Taxi...without a doubt. The trip should be short, and the ride should be between $20 and $30. It s not that cabs are expensive, it s just that that s their flat-rate from the airport to just about anywhere. It ll be the same to get back. They do take credit cards, but you should let them know first. They re a little lame about the credit card thing, I think mostly because it doesn t end up being a cash-in-hand tip, but they re required by law to take your credit card if that s the only way you can pay...and they can t deny you either. Having a cash tip ready may be enough to convince them.

taxi is the way to go in that case. I don t know how much but it s not far, so I wouldn t think it would be too expensive. It s only about 5-10 minutes away. Gameday traffic will obviously increase that time though. I would suggest getting there as early as you can to avoid as much traffic as possible.

Taxi is your best bet and they do hang around after events. Will probably be around $20-25. It s not far time-wise, but it s all highway driving so they cover decent mileage.

Is chicago more dangerous than detroit? -

More Dangerous? Slipping in your shower can be dangerous... any place you go for that matter is dangerous if you are naive enough...This is an impossible question to answer, saying that one place would be deemed safe while the other dangerous is a reckless assumption....Skydiving and bull fighting can be perfectly safe if you know what you are doing, the same applies when traveling in a large city... you have to be mature and carry yourself with caution and diligence and you ll have the best chances of never encountering a dangerous situation in the first place...

chicago is a gang ridden city that is crazy infact alot of chicago gangs have come to detroit but i would say detroit is more dangerous for the simple fact that chicago has crazy areas like pilsen and little village on the southside or humbolt park on the northside but chicago also has nice sububran lookin areas within the city limits like around wrigley field on the northside while detroit basically the whole city is dangerous weither you live on the east side, west side, or southwest side plus the simple fact that detroits economy is so bad so basically u have lots of ppl with no jobs + drugs + guns and gangs = lots of ppl commiting crimes either to support a drug habbit or just for money milwaukee is just like a mini chicago i would kno i lived in southwest detroit for over 21 years now living in the southside of milwaukee and i go to chicago alot

I have lived in both are dangerous!! I used to live on the southside of Chicago and used to carry a knife up the sleeve of my coat when going outside. I can honestly say I have never had to do that in Detroit. None the less both cities are very dangerous!!

I haven t been to Chicago but I grew up in Detroit and it honestly wasn t that bad, I have a love for my hometown. I think Chicago and Detroit are on about the same level though. I live in Brooklyn New York now.

well, she can t go 1 year with me bcoz she have her permanent job back in Malaysia. anyway, i will buy her flight ticket there during christmas.

try to meet as much as possible, by flying back whenever you have holidays, also talking on msn can help. but the most important is to meet whenever possible by flying back when u have time. Hope u can survive!

it is all up to you how to handle your longing for your gf. internet is a tool that you can use where you can talk to her everyday and even see her online. get busy with work really busy and time will fly so fast.

Talk on the phone often. Make sure you guys get webcams. That will help. It will be tough, but it can work.
