How long does it take for regular mail to get from NC to AZ? -
Where are the best places to go in NYC? -
I go to NYC about 5 times a year and I am going this weekend to see a broadway show which I got tickets off of broadwaybox.com - and I got the 6th row from the stage for 70 bucks. The seats originally cost $200! You get really good deals on that website and they have practically every show on there! You have to see a show- they are amazing!!!I personally love Central Park- they have the biggest skating rink and its really nice! There s also ice skating at Rockefeller which is smaller but they have it all decked out in holiday decorations - with the biggest tree you will ever see. But what is even better is you can go up on the rockefeller building and see out into the city and eat. And you can go any time of the day or night! You cant go wrong with Times Square and 5th Ave shopping- but Bryant Park is a nice place to go and escape. Have a nice lunch and get away from the craziness of people. There is a lot to do but I do advise that you do not eat at the Hard Rock and Planet Hollywood-their way over priced and the food is terrible-and that goes for pretty much every restaurant in Times Square. There s lots of cool pizza shops and food places and restaurants along 5th and 6th Ave and they arent that expensive! Dylans candy bar on Park ave is really cool. You will have so much fun in there-theres candy everywhere and they have the best goodies you will ever find! Shopping on 5th Ave is great-the disney store, fao schwartz and trump towers. Its a sight - you could spend a whole morning or afternoon on 5th ave! =) Have a good time!!
The must see s are the Statue of Liberty, Empire State Building, Times Square, Cental Park (the zoo is excellent), Rockefeller Center, and Ellis Island.I highly recommend taking a sightseeing tour so you can see the most of NYC in the least amount of time. Grayline is a good, reputable tour company in NYC.
The link below can help u. Good luck!
We are thinking of spending New Years at Navy Pier...Is it worth it, or miserable and freezing? -
Totally worth it. I usually can t stand going to Navy Pier...but something about NYE that makes braving the crowd worth it. Plus there s plenty of places to go in and warm up when you need to. Why not though? It s the best view of Chicago s skyline.
If you want to be in the heart of the party scene, Navy Pier is where you want to be.
I will be in my nice warm bed, new years is the most boring night of the year
WHY O WHY? Is McDonalds @ 51st and Broadway in NYC charging 41 cents more for coffee on Thanksgiving Day? -
I d be very surprised if you could buy McDonald s coffee at that location ever for $1.09. Everything is always more expensive in Manhattan and even more so in Times Square.
SUPPLY AND DEMAND! The more people, the more the price goes up! Besides, everything in NYC is expensive! Especially around the holidays!
Be thankful!!! I just got back from my McDonalds and they are closed for Thanksgiving Day. I would GLADLY pay an extra 41 cents for coffee!!
You actually drink McDonalds coffee?
LOL because they had to work on thanksgiving at Macdonald out of all places !
They probably give it for donations. But I m not really sure.
Because they can do it and get away with it.
Got a ? about AES in temecula, CA? -
Posting this question here is like trying to find a needle in a haystack. First of all, Alamos Elementary School is in Murrieta, not Temecula (although it s in the Temecula district). Secondly, Murrieta is about 80 miles from LA, so the chances of finding ANYONE whose kids go there are about as much as winning the lotto. I did some checking, and even the people at Alamos don t rate their own school on the web sites for such things. That s pretty amazing. Maybe they don t have the Internet there or something. But you can check the site below for demographic information. A good inticator of the school is the API score and CST scores. AES has very good scores, way above average. So, without ever having been there, I d say it s a pretty good school based on test scores.http://www.education.com/schoolfinder/us
If you were in San Francisco, what souvenir would you like to get? -
I would get something that symbolizes the Golden Gate bridge.
