Central Park Zoo vs. Bronx Zoo -- which do you like better and why? Are both open in winter? -

there s no comparison, the Bronx zoo is LARGE. It has the monorail ride, large exhibits. Its like a theme park

Which one do I like better? They are two completely different things. If I want to see animals, the zoo is better. The exhibits are wonderful! If I want to interact with people, something I love very much, I go to Central Park.

The Bronx, its larger, older and more interesting that Central Park. In case you re wonder if the Bronx Zoo is open in the winter, yes it is.Good luck

Bronx Zoo is open 365 days of the year and longer on holidays.Options are available to visit for free or low cost.

Pawn shops in vegas question? -

If I wanted to sell a cell phone that I found, and have held on to and yet no one claimed...would they buy it there?

once you say you found or something like that they will not buy it and if they did you wouild be lucky to get $5 for it

Why don t you return it to the wireless provider whose service it s attached to? The wireless provider can return it to the rightful owner.

Phoenix, Vegas or Austin to move? -

I m trying to get outta CA. I ve lived here most of my life and hate it. I m considering moving somewhere that s cheaper, with warm weather, stuff to do, and laidback. I also want to be somewhere with a good enough public transportation system that I don t need a car. I don t like snobby, uptight or superficial people. I m considering these 3 cities now.

Phoenix is a really nice town. Vegas has a lot of crime and very few jobsNever been to Austin, but I ve heard mostly nice things about it

Vegas!

Trying to book the cheapest, possible way from Toledo, OH to Boston, MA...? -

I m trying to get my friend to come visit me from Toledo, OH, but because it s the holidays, money is tight so I m trying to find the cheapest way possible. He would be leaving Toledo on Saturday, December 12 (I know, realllly short notice) and he would have to leave Boston on Thursday, December 17. I tried Amtrak, and those aren t too expensive, but I was wondering if anyone has travelled along that route a different way, or anything cheaper than $100 each way.Thank you so much for your help!

AmTrak is a good choice, and probably the cheapest. Air travel is also a possibility. Southwest Airlines has a Cleveland-Boston/Boston-Cleveland limited availability airfare for $89 each way ($99.20 with taxes).

Greyhound will sell you a Discovery Pass , 7 days for $199.http://www.discoverypass.com/That will probably be the cheapest. But there are scary people on the busses. Be very careful, keep an eye on all your stuff.Good luck, I hope you figure something out! :-)

Is Canal Street, NYC Safe? -

Me and my mom are taking a day trip to NYC and i want to go to canal street to get some of their bargain purses. She insists that it s not safe and is too crime ridden for us to go to. Is she right or is canal street perfectly safe?

Canal Street is fine, and perfectly safe. There are usually a lot of people there, which makes it difficult for robbers or other lawless people to commit crimes, out of fear of witnesses. People who commit crimes tend to commit crimes without a lot of people around, because more people is equal to more witnesses. Canal Street is pretty busy, year-round, so do not feel worried. It s perfectly fine. All the best ?

Crime-ridden, not sure, but quite frankly, it definitely has a very seedy feel to it, and I don t very much enjoy walking through there. Mostly because it s ridiculously crowded and you have someone in your face every five seconds trying to sell you something. It is what it is. Secure your valuables.

Canal Street is fine. If you get robbed it will be in on of the shops trying to buy something you know can t be what it appears to be.Eat at Wo Hops. Think Im kidding ? Try it.

Of course it is safe. Don t worry, you ll be fine.Good luck
