Looking for a scenic route, New York to Phoenix. Trip would be in the spring, and I am driving solo.? -

NYC to Phoenix - 7 to 8 days total, one way. Would like recommendations city-to-city along the way averaging about 8-10 hours of driving max.

Grab a fold out map of the U.S. Draw a straight line between NY and Phoenix. Staying close to that line, pick only highways that are shown in BLUE. It is called Blue Highway Travel . I love it! It is a bit slower but using any roads BUT Interstates is a lot more fun. You should be able to complete the trip within 7-8 days easily.

first stop would be va,the second day would be little rock ak,third day would be dallas tx,fourth day would be new mexico, the evening of the fifth day ,id be over in tempe az.. if you happen to go the northern route, chances are you would be stuck in snowy mountains, your best bet would be taking the interstate 40,then once you get to az border, its real easy to get to phoenix..

If you are a AAA member ask them for the best scenic route and suggestions. If not, perhaps you should join as their service could be very necessary on the trip.Otherwise go to Mapquest.com and ask for the scenic route map and make your own plan. It wii include miles and driving times.time

Needless to say there are several choices. The following (only key points shown) has many scnenic stretches while being a direct route: Geo.Washington Bridge - I 80 - Stroudsberg, PA - I 81 South - I 78 - Harrisburg, PA - Roanoke, VA - to I 40 Tenneseee - Nashville - Little Rock - Oklahoma City - Albuquerque, NM - I 17 South - Phoenix

Small towns in north carolina and kentucky..? -

i want to know some small towns in kentucky and north carolina with a population less than 3000.anyone know? :/

I nearly live in one. Beaufort NC just about qualifies though I think we are just a bit over 3000. Let s see...NC is full of them. Down east there is Atlantic, Otway, Harpers Island, Stacy, Davis, Gloucester. Outer Banks towns like Kitty Hawk, Nags Head, Duck, and Corolla. Then close to Charlotte, there is Boger City and Taylorsville. Wow there are so many tiny lil towns and I was just shocked to realize when I looked them up that most have a population of between 3 and 5,000. In the mountains, Banner Elk and Blowing Rock are the biggest named towns. Near Fayetteville is Lillington. Littleton, NC, on Lake Gaston is tiny as well.Truly there are hundreds of them though.

i live in dayton ky....pretty sure its small enough....there are two street lights in the whole city....lol......also rabbit hash ky is pretty famous i guess, there was a docu made about it, a dog was their mayor....

What places r really felony friendly? -

Can t imagine that there are any travel locations - or anywhere else for that matter - that would welcome people committing felonies. Don t do it!![Maybe you should put this question in the Legal section?]

Not Las Vegas. You have to have all kinds of backround checks for just about any kind of job. A felony of any kind will prevent you getting one. I answered it that way since you place your question in the travel to Las Vegas category.
