For TN and NC Residents? -

Hello; My family and I are planning a vacation to Pigeon Forge and we are a bit lost. At the beginning we taught that a week over there would be more than enough because we taught the only thing to do up there was to see the mountains and ski. To our surprise we have found so many things to do that we are already planning to go this time and then go again. My question really is: What are the best things we can do up there? I have a list that includes couple of things and I would like to know if you recommend it or not.Rock Chimney ParkRockey Mountain ParkWish one is better???? Unfortunately we cant do both.Horse back ridingAny particular place????Biltmore StateIs the wine tour worth it????Dollywood ParkThat s for sure!!!!Town of ghosts in the skyThis is like an Indian place. Do you recommend it???Ober MountainBeech MountainAny other ski resort, better than these two?????Blue ridge parkway??? Is it any good???Thank You very much for your help, I really need it. Thanks again.

I have never heard of Rockey Mountain Park, or Rock Chimney Park. There is a Chimney Rock Park in NC. It is a nice place to visit, but cost. There are several horse riding stables, but the only one I ve ever been to is closed now. Do a google search and you will find plenty.Ghost Town in the Sky is the name of an amusement park in Maggie Valley. It is not Indian. If you want to see Indian sites go to Cherokee. Ghost Town is not open in winter. Maggie Valley is still a nice place to visit.Do you mean Biltmore Estate? It is fairly expensive so if you can afford it go. You can go other places to find wine. The Blue Ridge Parkway is good if you like riding and mountain views. There are places along the way to hike. Cades Cove is interesting too.Beech Mountain is OK. I have never been to Ober. You will probably want to spend a day in Gatlinburg. Some of the places you mentioned are not real near to Pigeon Forge.

Will i get a ticket? I accidentally went on the bay bridge fastrack/carpool lane!!? -

and no, there wasnt anyone else and i DONT have a fasttrack!I missed my exit to emeryville and panicked and now I m scared because i just took care of a ticket!

Yes, you will. When you pass through a toll lane without paying the toll, an image of your vehicle is captured. A violation notice is sent to the vehicles registered owner within 21 days of the toll violation at the address on file with the Department of Motor Vehicles. The notice requests payment for the toll amount and an additional $25 penalty. However, good news: if you are a first-time toll violator, you can have your penalty dismissed by opening a FasTrak account:https://www.bayareafastrak.org/dynamic/vIt s really easy to open one. You give them a deposit that goes on your running tab. It s really worth it to have one if you travel any of the bridges in the Bay Area with regularity.

there is camera monitor the plate and fastrack in every lane.mostly you will get a ticket( unless camera doesn t work), but you can apply the fasttrack, and without paying fine.

Does anyone have any personal knowledge of good spots to watch the sun rise/set over the Atlanta GA skyline? -

I m looking for a nice, calm, potentially romantic spot to watch the sun rise or set in Atlanta. A particular park.......a spot I can drive up to.....you know, something secluded, but not TOO secluded.

Stone Mountain is a good choice. Another might be the Westin Peachtree Plaza hotel...get a room high on the east side...just open your drapes and watch it in bed. Having a bottle of chilled champagne wouldn t hurt.

Piedmont Park has a nice view of Midtown and I m sure the view at sunset is good. I ve never been there at sunrise but I bet that Centenniel Park offers a great view of Downtown at sunrise.

The North Avenue bridge over the freeway always used to have the best view of the downtown skyline.

If you want the skyline, the best place is probably the top of Stone Mountain.

definitely Stone Mountain

yes in atlanta, ga.

Which city would be better to live in, Phoenix or Vegas? -

Give details please.

Vegas, too much crime in Phoenix. Still easier to get a job. Not quite as hot, though both places are pretty hot Vegas is a bit cooler. More entertainment, you can do more stuff for free. Not too far away from the coast and the ocean.

Vegas - it s ever expanding, so finding a job can be easier. I ve flown into Phoenix and it looks kind of run down. Don t get me wrong - there is run down areas all over the place, and to be fair, I only saw one part of the town. However, I ve seen quite a bit of Vegas and there is much more variety. Depending on what you have in mind for a job, you can do great if you work in the casinos, in construction (although economy has slowed it down a bit), and/or in the food service industry.

Vegas! There are no Siegfried and Roy in Phoenix!

Better! for what? Each is different and each has populations that love their place. It depends on You more than anything else.

Vegas everytime babe!

Vegas has more jobs and fun and nice.

A few friends and I would like to go to Times Square News Year Eve, is there anything special you have to do? -

to get in, like do i have to buy special tickets or something, What about the perforamnces??

No tickets, but Times Square is a mob scene so come early with young strong kidneys since you will be outside without a bathroom for several hours. If you would prefer to come to New York for the holidays without being tormented, may I suggest Christmas instead? Here is an article about this:http://www.associatedcontent.com/article

Just wear, like, six pairs of socks, because your feet are going to get frostbite from standing on freezing cold concrete for, like, 8 hours, and you ll do just fine!

Go there several hours before just to get a few blocks away, but you may not get close to Times Sq. with hundreds of thousands also trying to be in that spot.
