Going to fredericksbrg,VA? -

what airport should I land in,to get close to there? ^_^

The closest major airports are Richmond and Washington Reagan National. Both are about an hour s drive away. Richmond is a bit closer, but Reagan National has a broader range of flights which often cost less than those going to Richmond.F burg itself only has a small airport for executive jets and the like.

NO DO NOT GO TO RICHMOND, it takes 90 minutes to drive to richmond airport, and there are less flights there and they are more expensive, best option? fly into BWI baltimore thurgood international its about and hour and a half if traffic is fair and it has THE CHEAPEST flights like 200 and less! RIchmond starts at 200, other than that if your just looking for convience its DEFinately Reagan national Airport on the potomac thats only like 40-60 mins away

Is the Miami Beach Art Basel worth going? -

I m a 16 year old student. Can I enter free if i m under 16? Is it worth going? Is it fun? Also what are fun art basel events I can go to that are free and at Miami Beach?

u might have to be accompanied by a paying adult. i went to the opening last night and I liked fifty percent of it. i think that if someone can take you it is worth going since it is one of the best in the world. most art galleries are there. i do have to say the reps are not so smart i asked them questions about c prints and they had no ideas about duration vs. the other medium of photos. there is also a nightly event on collins and 21st the concert last night was great. we are fortunate to have such an event in this city.

It is definitely worth going if you are interested in contemporary/modern art. While there are presentation conceptual pieces, 99% of it is visual. Last year they had some classes studios for young people. If you re going with your parents they haven t been there before, you should warn them that in past years some of the art verged on even crossed over what many would define as pornography. [On second thought, maybe you shouldn t warn them lest they forbid you from going!]

Based on the site, if you like art, it s the event to go to. They have a variety of mediums so you should be able to find something you like:http://www.artbaselmiamibeach.com/As for prices, Admission is free for children under 16, when accompanied by an adult so you would need to take ID like from your school and a parent.

Is this a good time to go to Disney World? -

Okeedokee, I haven t been to Disney World in...well, quite a while. So, I have no idea what to expect. I know holiday breaks are bound to make the place extremely crowded, but is any day between now and Thanksgiving a good time to go? (As in, not crowded?) If not, when is the best time to go to Disney World this time of year? Thankies!

From personal experience I would say going anytime between now and Thanksgiving is gonna be a decent enough time to go. Not as crowded as Christmas or Spring Break. If you can t get there before Thanksgiving, another good time to go would be in the run up to Xmas, although in recent years this time of year has gotten slightly busier as Disney has started to have special events to draw in the crowds. The upside of going at this time of year is the Christmas decorations. They are absolutely gorgeous and should not be missed! The Osborne Spectacle of Dancing Lights in Hollywood Studios is absolutely beautiful and I would totally recommend it!If you want to hold out and go next year I would advise going anytime in January or February (just not any part of Presidents Week as we made this mistake before and the queues were C-R-A-Z-Y compared to the rest of February!) Feb is probably my favourite time to go - humidity is not an issue and accommodation prices are much lower than usual!Hope this helps and enjoy your trip!

No, I don t think so. Anytime near any holiday is a bad time to go. But if you go on the right day you can get yourself out of a real spoof. Tuesdays and Wednesdays tend to not be crowded days, but I ve gone the day after Thanksgiving and it was so crowded you d never believe it. Any holiday is bad, and everyone goes there because they have it off. I know it s not December yet, but people still love it. The beginning of December might be good, because people are waiting for Christmas to come.

I ve been there alot. And yes, it is a good time to go. Because i believe its not prime holiday season yet for Christmas so it should be cheaper. And I know it is way lesss crowded. Also I m not positive when they put up their Christmas decoration or the Osbourne lights.but you might get to see them. :)The best time is probably now to go.Worst time Spring Break and Summeralso, even though its Florida, it is November so the weather cold be unpredictable.Make sure you pack some long pants and a jacket

It s not a good idea to go during the weekends as the Park is absolutely full of people. But yes, this time of the year is nice, because it s not hot and it doesn t rain every day as in the Summer. Some days seem to be worse than others and I ve heard that Tuesdays and Wednesdays are not as crowded as the rest of the days. Always try to avoid holidays and school vacation and you ll be O.K.Enjoy!

If you really want to go, just go, and stop worrying about how crowded it will be! I think it s guaranteed to be crowded any time of the year that you go: summer, because the kids are off of school, and winter, because everyone wants to escape the cold.

Any time is a great time to go to WDW. Check out tripadvisor.com a free site, type Orlando in the search box and find the travel forum. People there will have all the projected crowd sizes for any days you have in mind.

Historically any week immediately after a typical public school break is a good time. The first 2 weeks of Dec and most of Jan (with the exception of Jan 1-3) are usually very slow times.

Anywhere between now, and Thanksgiving, or Christmas would be a good time since there s still people working.

i heard its cheaper around the fall. Im going there for my honey moon. Its best time i think.

That a trick question, there are no good times

Sometime where it is hard for people to get off work!

there is never a good time to go. NEVER.

yes

How long does the snow last in Denver? -

I am going to Denver for some business in mid-January and if it snows how bad is it usually and how long does it stay on the ground? I am going to be staying in either Denver or Aurora.

The snow doesnt usually stay on the ground very long. Unless you go during a snow storm, the majority of the snow usually melts the same day or the next. The temperatures are cold in the morning but then the sun always comes out and they weather gets well above freezing so the snow begins to melt but then it gets cold at night again so all the melted snow runoff freezes so be careful driving

Sometimes the snow melts. Not always. Two years ago it stayed below 30 degrees for nearly a month and nothing melted. Since everyone is so used to having solar snow removal, parking lots and sidewalks were a nightmare. So, in reality. it melts if the weather stays above 30 degrees for several hours during the day. Otherwise it stays and stays and stays.

everyone said it already but since denver does get a lot of snow, our plows usually do a pretty good job of clearing the streets, chances are you will not get trapped anywhere if that s a concern of yours.

What 510 said it true. We have 300+ days of sunshine and very low humidity , so snow melts and evaporates very quickly. But expect low temps. in January. A good local news and weather ishttp://www.9news.com

Will the people in the city of San Francisco ever vote Nancy Pelosi out of office? -

She s a cold, steely, mean, cut throat, corrupt individual.

Money can buy loyalty in America. As one of the wealthiest members of Congress, Nancy Pelosi has a lot of it to throw around. And whether they like or dislike her personally, San Franciscans know Pelosi can get them more of the green stuff. She has been very good for the city in that regard. She even got them 16 billion for that ridiculous Central Subway project. The Central Subway is a stub train line with only four stations that will run through an area of Downtown San Francisco people can walk in 20 minutes. The reason it will cost so much money is because they already have three centuries worth of junk under there. Which they will now clear out in order to build an incredibly short and pointless tunnel. But actual need isn t really the point. The point is Pelosi has a track record of being able to deliver for her constituents. If the Republicans really wanted to oust her, they would run a Michael Bloomberg or Lincoln Chaffee. A wealthy, managerial, and moderate Republican who s more interested in law and order than divisive social issues. But they keep on putting up penniless extremists in the name of ideological purity. Then they wonder why Pelosi walks away with 70% of the vote every election.

Speaking as one of her constituents, all of you who answered so far have the wrong perception of who she is and what she does in her local district or in D.C.I think of a lot of corrupt, sleazy, politicians who take taxpayer money for themselves and they are all Republicans. All people in Congress are wealthy compared to the ordinary American because they spend most of their time in other businesses.

She is a fine representative for the district and has done a lot for us, so yes, we ll continue to vote for her.And you really don t know anything about her other than what your Republican masters have said about her, do you?

You cannot beat someone with no one.

yeah, she said she cleaned up the garbage in Washington. I guess she forgot about herself
