Spanish/mexican landmarks or destinations in san francisco? -

hi i am doing a project for a spanish class, and i need to use the san francisco muni system to take me to 6 different destinations in san francisco, 4 of which have to do with something mexican or spanish or latin american. i live in atlanta so im relatively un familiar with the public transport in san francisco. i plan on doing golden gate bridge and union square as my regular two, but if anyone knows any famous mexican restaurants or spanish museums etc in san fran that would be great! preferably something within 6 blocks of a muni stop.

In fact, the Officers Club was built by the Spanish in the 1790s (MUNI buses 29 and 43). 5. Mission Dolores, constructed in 1776, was one of the first churches built in San Francisco. The surrounding neighborhood is still distinctly Latin and you ll find plenty of Mexican restaurants (BART to 16th Street Station; MUNI buses 22, 26, and streetcar J-Church).Bonuses - The column at the center of Union Square celebrates U.S. Admiral Dewey s victory over the Spanish fleet in the Philippines. Pros: Weather- I am still in my shorts.Beaches- There s a group of people from my college that are going to make the 15 minute drive to the beach to see the meteor showerCons:Sprawl- Tampa is essentially a large suburb, as is Jacksonville.Old People- Now I understand where all the old people from back up north went. There are SO MANY OF THEM.
