If you re looking for something to do on New Year s theres an annual huge outdoor block party in Tempe. Several bars in Arlington allow smoking.(1) Ri Ra has a smoking room(2) Hard Time Cafe has a small smoking bar on the 2nd floor(3) Whitlows on Wilson allows smoking sometimes in the Sandbar(4) Summers has a smoking bar(5) Baileys in ballston Mall also allows smoking.(6) Alpine Restaurant on Lee Highway has a smoking bar(7) Crystal City Sports Pub allows smokingThe only place of in Alexandria that I m told allows smoking is the Landini Bros. Restaurant.

From my understanding, smoking is still allowed should the restaurant have a separate room with proper ventilation. If that s the case, I believe Summers Restaurant in the Courthouse area in Arlington allows smoking. They have a separate area that s away from the non smoking area and have always run it that way. Usually the majority of restaurants don t have any separation like that so they have banned smoking all together. I m always at Summers but I haven t been there since the ban started on December 1st so I don t actually know first hand but I don t see why they would ban it if they have that seperation within the restaurant.

Ashton, I don t know for sure but there are a couple of places you could try.1. Yahoo s yellow pages has a list of churches in the Community-Religion section. Type brooklyn ny and you may get some hits. I ve never lived there but some Black churches will call themselves by a Missionary Baptist church. For example, you may find (I m putting something at random here) North 7th Street Missionary Baptist Church. This is not, repeat not, a surefire or infallible guide to finding a church but it s a place to look if all else fails .2. The Southern Baptist web site, at http://www.sbc.net has a church search feature. Again, you could type Brooklyn, NY in the search box and you ll get a list of every Southern Baptist church that s been listed. Try the map feature and see if one is close to where you live. Some of these churches may have websites and/or a profile feature where you can find more information.3. Don t forget the National Baptist Convention, too. I hadn t thought of these before your question but again, try to google or do a Yahoo search for this group of churches. I haven t tried this in a long time so it s anybody s guess what you might find. Here s hoping our Lord leads you to the best possible place to worship and serve Him.4. Also something I just now thought of (one of those DUH! moments!) is the phone book! You may find a listing for a church right there. Don t forget to ask your friends and co-workers as they may be able to help in your search, too.5. I don t think they have monthly parking, though I could be wrong.I went to this website and selected monthly and then put in the address of Union Station - 800 N. Alameda - and it showed a map with lot locations and prices. There are a few on Spring St that don t seem too awfully expensive. There is a DASH bus D that goes from Union Station and travels down Spring Street.You might also try calling the people at the MTA building adjacent to the station. We parked there for a few days last year. A long new york break and work? -

I went to New york at the beginning of the year an fell in love with the city!! I am wondering if anybody would know how I would go about finding out weather I could go over for 6 months + and how I would go about finding work, I work for the ambulnce service in the UK, and cant find weather they would take me on to go out with them possibly for the time im over there. or eve how to get any sort of job etc. all help appeciated

Well, sorry, but we Americans need all of our jobs right now, so we won t be too happy about you coming over here and taking one of them away from one of us, if you know what I mean.Besides, visiting here as a tourist is one thing, but moving here and taking one of our jobs is a whole nother matter altogether.
