Why would anyone want to go to South Street? It used to be cool but hasn t been for quite some time.In December, rent a car. No one wants to stand out in the cold and wait for a bus. Just know that you ll have to pay to park.Or consider Zipcar. Which is a car sharing service where you pay by the hour.
It depends on where you will be staying. If you do decide to stay in center city, public transportation would be your best option. There is also a service called Philly Car share, where you can a rent a car by the hour. It s good for quick trips here and there, in case you would like to see something a little out of the way while you are here. If you are staying outside of center city, like by the airport, consider the cost of parking a rental car in the city before you budget for that.
around south street it s better to just walk.. cause parking is a b.!tchother then that you can just drive.. since you don t know the area septa would be tricky for you... we re not like NY it s not difficult to drive around here like it is there. We also don t have cabs all around you usually gotta call for one and wait plus it cost money.. so really you should just walk if you can or drive.
Walk, take a cab or use public transportation. Don t rent a car. Traffic is nuts and parking is expensive. Don t walk around late at night.
train definitely or walking. take the train to somewhere close to were you are going then walk if possible if not take a taxi.
go by septa its inexpensive and you can go all over the city
stay on the plane and fly over would be the easiest way philly is crazy
