Yes, it snowed/sleeted this morning (and continued to storm throughout a lot of the day).I live in Boston, MA. A very few number of schools were canceled for all or part of the day. A lot of my friends live in Minnesota, where it snowed a lot last night and today. Many schools were closed there.

Most of the fun stuff in chicago happens in the summer, the taste of chicago such, but for new years most people go to bars. As far as I know navy pier has some christmas stuff that happens.

You are not a citizen of the US and Maine is part of the US. So, you need travel documents to visit because you are a Canadian. Consult the American Embassy or your Foreign Affairs Office.
