All inclusive resort in US by the beach where they serve you on the beach? -

I m trying to help my friend find a resort/all inclusive package for his honeymoon next summer. He would like to find a place which is all inclusive, and that would serve them drinks on the beach. Any help would be GREATLY appreciated. And he doesn t want to go outside the US b/c they don t have passports and don t really want the trouble to get some. Thanks!~!

I don t think there are any all-inclusive resorts in the US.However, you don t need a passport to go to the US Virgin Islands. This site might help: http://www.virgin-islands-hotels.com/mar

I need help finding out what time my family get to airport? -

http://flights.usairways.com/FlightStatuThey leave 6pm Philly time and get here three hours later California. Thats what the lady on the phone says. But I calculated it and it appears they get here at 6 pm not 9pm. Is the 8:59pm mentioned in the link above, philly time? Can anyone help me understand this? I dont know if I should go to the airpiort at 6 or 9???

The flight takes six hours non-stop, according to Expedia. They are departing 6 PM Philly, which is 3 PM CA. A six-hour flight will arrive at 9.

Local time are always given. So they left at 6pm local time and arrive at 8:59 local time.

What documents are needed to go to the united states? -

i wanted to go to the states this weekend to go shopping, and i live in canada,i was just wondering what documents you need to get in,im just going for one day in a car.im not sure if you need your passport and visa or what?and also i wasnt born in canada so i dont have a canadian passport.do you know what i might need?please heelp!:D

To go for shopping... you need a passport... that s about it...

Everyone needs a passport to cross the border, and depending on your nationality, you may need a visa. See site below. If your home country is on the Visa Waiver Program list, you do not need a visa. if your home country is not on that list, you need to apply for a B-2 tourist visa. Read further down that page and follow instructions there. You will not be going to the U.S. this weekend...you will need to plan ahead and get a passport, and maybe a visa first.

You will need a passport. A birth certificate or other forms of ID (drivers license) will not do. You will need a passport. Also, since you are not Canadian, you might need a visa. There s different kinds of visas. Some, you can get just at any major border crossing, but it depends on the country you are from (based on your passport). If you are from the UK or you hold a EU passport, you can just get your visa at the border. You should check online on the US Embassy site for the list of countries that will require visas, even for day trips.

You need a passport from the country where you are a citizen. You need the registration for the car.You need a license (to drive the car). You need proof that the car has insurance. To return to Canada, you need proof that you were in Canada legally (entered legally orginal, have a current valid visa, etc.)

You need a Passport and 20 American dollars or Canadian currency that equals that amount in U.S dollars. And Maybe Your Birth certificate. to get across the border and maybe 1,000 U.S. dollars. but it depends on what you are getting

birth certificate, passport, visa , ID =)

What train can I take from 34th Street ndash; Herald Square Station to Union Sq ndash; 14th Street Station? -

You can take a southbound/downtown/Brooklyn bound N,Q,R or W train. If you get the N or the Q, it will only be one stop to get to Union Square. If you get the R or the W, the trip will be three stops. However, once you get on a train, it won t even take 5 minutes to get from Herald Square to Union Square.

Well, it s only 20 blocks, which equals one mile, so, if it s a nice day, why not walk it and get to see some of our fair city as you go, instead of taking a stinky old noisy subway for such a very short ride!Good luck, and the link below is to a map of the route, with turn-by-turn directions, too...

Take the downtown N , R , Q or W train (Yellow Line on the subway map) from 34th Street to Union Square-14th Street. The trip take about 5 minutes.Good luckNative New Yorker

There (Herald Square Station) you can take the N, Q or W towards Union Sq C 14th Street Station.Have fun at the Filmore.

How likely am i to get into the Univeristy of Washington? -

I know that no one will be able to say for sure, but what are the possibilities? I have a 3.33 GPA and got a 1450, and a 1550 on my SAT sDo you think that i have a good chance based on those factors?

Assuming you mean University of Washington in Seattle WA, They accept 65-70% of applicants. All of whom stated their favorite dog is the husky. You could look here for an idea:http://college.mychances.net/college-158or here:http://nces.ed.gov/collegenavigator/?q=UGPA looks fine. For SAT, is that combined score for all three sections (critical reading, math, and writing?) or just critical reading and math (as no one seems to care about writing). If its for all three, its a bit low, if it s math and critical reading (formerly verbal), you should be fine. And if you meant University of The District of Columbia , well...it has an open admission policy, which I believe means that if you apply, you are admitted.

Sign up for collegeboard.com and enter all your information and they will show you how you stack up to the school. It helped me out a TON when I was applying for schools.

Not very, if you can t tell the difference between Washington, DC, and Washington State.

What large American cities population? -

What large cities have gone down in population over the years instead of up?

New Orleans had by far the largest population loss among all cities with populations of at least 100,000 people. The city lost slightly more than half of its pre-Hurricane Katrina population. It fell from 452,170 on 1 July 2005, to 223,388 one year later a loss of 50.6 per cent.Detroit 2006: 871,121 2004: 896,919 2000: 947,910Baltimore 2006: 631,366 2004: 641,943 2000: 648,481Milwaukee 2006: 573,358 2004: 581,281 2000: 596,131

Im looking to go to an aquarium for my birthday in December. I live in Michigan and found a nice one in Newport Kentucky (Newport Aquarium) but I was wondering what other ones are around my area? The newport one is about 5 hour drive, not looking to go much father than that. If you know of any good ones in ohio, michigan, illinois, etc can you inform me about them? Thanks in advance!

Here are three options for you if choose to stay in Michigan, Belle Isle is probably your best bet if you are just interested in seeing fish.Clinch Park Zoo in Traverse CityJohn Ball Zoological Garden in Grand RapidsBelle Isle Aquarium in Royal OakHope that helps you out.

The Newport Aquarium is excellent. If you don t find one closer to your home, you will have a great time there. Happy Birthday!

What is the difference between the Dolphin and the Swan resort at Disney? -

I m going to make reservations at either the Swan or the Dolphin resort at Disney, but I can t seem to tell a difference. Is there a difference between the two?

Both are very nice hotels on Disney property, however they are owned by Starwood not Disney. The Swan is a Westin while the Dolphin is a Sheraton, so I would imagine the Swan is a little bit nicer. They do a lot of conventions and are the business hotels of Disney. The restaurants in these hotels are also nicer than most of the Disney restaurants which have gone down in quality dramatically to support the Disney Dinning Plan. If I was going on vacation to Disney the swan or dolphin would be at the top of my list.

Dolphin is the hotel with the large convention space. It has a larger lobby. It is usually crowded when there is a convention going on.Both have good places to eat but they are pricey. I would stay at the Swan. The walk to Epcot or The Studios is a little shorter if you stay at the Swan. They share the same boat dock to Epcot or the Studios but are 2 different stops if you are taking the bus to and from MK AK or DtD

The rooms are not necessarily different, the lobby s differ, but the distance to Epcot, the boardwalk and the boat dock are the same. So I would just go for the cheapest offer.

Never stayed at the Swan, but ive stayed at Dolphin. And it was really nice

There aren t that many lakes but there are lots of reservoirs.

What is there to do in NYC that tourists dont know about? -

I am going to NYC for Christmas this year and I want to try to experience as much of NYC as I can. I am trying to look for cool fun places to go and see that most people who are not from NYC dont know about. Is there any great restaurant and such that are really must dos. here is a list of stuff I already know about if you have any other ideas please let me know.China townRockefeller centerWindow displaysKatzThe river cafOf course the sights like empire state building, statue of liberty etcIm looking for stuff tourists dont know about/ the real NYC

We just got back from NYC about 3 months ago and I m definitely going back! We were there for 3 days, but I think 5 days should be enough. Get the 3+ day NewYorkPass, it will save you a lot of money! http://www.newyorkpass.com/ Also, buy your NYC T-shirt ( 5 for 10.99) at Times SQ.Around Empire State building, they have a lot of cheap NYc sounviers. Hotel wise, book early. We stayed in Chinatown (Hotel 91) but it s clean and fairly cheap- though you can heard the subway at night, it didn;t bother us. Becareful of big and cheap hotel, I heard it s not clean,, The last thing you want is to bring home some bed bugs.Broadway Show: If Wicked was too expensive ( it was for us), so we went to see Fuerza Bruta , we got a coupon online and pay half price =) so check online! .. Let put it this way, we will never forget this show.. we had a blast!http://www.broadwaybox.com/ ? for cheap shows! Ps. We finally watched Wicked In San Francisco, it was great!

many things. but why should new yorkers give up that information? i still know places from when i used to live there and still stop in when i am town. i would never tell anyone about them. i had to find them to begin with.

make beleive that you live on the top floor of a walk up and drag a shopping cart full of groceries and/or laundry up to the top floor. Great exercise and so much fun

What is the fastest way to ge from newark airport to 225 E 17th St, NY., NY? -

Taxi. It s expensive, but that s the fastest. To speed it up, you can call in advance. The two easiest numbers to remember are:Carmel: 212-666-6666Tel Aviv: 212-777-7777Let them know your flight number and arrival time and they ll meet you there, no taxi lines. You can also take the train or the shuttle bus. It ll still be a little pricey, but not nearly as expensive. It ll be a lot slower though. (Unless you re coming in during rush hour, then the train might actually be faster than the cab.) If you take the train or bus, take any downtown train from where it lets you off (not the B or D, but I don t think you ll be at a B or D stop anyway). Get off at 14th street and take the L train toward Brooklyn. Get off at 3rd Avenue. Walk from there.

A car service is good, however, if you want to save money, take public transit from Newark Airport to the address in question. Here s how to get from EWR to 225 East 17th Street, which is located at the corner of East 17th Street and Rutherford Place.Step 1: take the Airtrain from the terminal to the Newark-Liberty International Airport train station.Step 2: at the Newark-Liberty International Airport train station, purchase a one way NJ Transit ticket from EWR to Penn Station New York and take any New York City-bound (eastbound) train from there to New York Penn Station. A one way ticket on NJ Transit from EWR to New York Penn Station will cost you $15.Step 3: at Penn Station, walk a block west along 34th Street to Broadway, and take the downtown (southbound) N , R , W or Q trains (Yellow Line on the subway map) from 34th Street-Hearld Square to Union Square - 14th Street.Step 4 at Union Square, exit the subway and follow the walking direction at the link below.http://maps.google.com/maps?f=d source=sI hope this information is very helpful.Good luckNative New Yorker

try the shuttle, only $17 http://www.goairlinkshuttle.com/, otherwise cabs too but they are expensive

19.4 miles I looked it up and Joe s way sounds faster then what I came up with.
