Best place to live in new york city? -

Hi all i was just wondering if anyone knew the best place to live in New York city? i want an apartment right in the middle of the city where i can see everything.Whatever the price is millions i dont mind.Like really expensive posh areas.Could anyone give me names of streets or websites or anything your help will be much appreciated.Thank you, Hayley.

well, there is the soho district which is extremely nice, try looking up for places in soho. hope that helps

First of all, people who can truly afford any price, cost is no option, do NOT need to ask about neighborhoods on Yahoo Answers. The very fact that you a) said you don t mind the cost, and b) you are here in the first place, shows that you are just fantasizing and not really buying anything at all.Second of all, even very rich people DO care about how much they spend. Even when people are spending millions of dollars, they still are interested in the price!!!Finally, saying millions like that isn t that impressive in NYC. Even in my neighborhood in Brooklyn, many properties go for millions , these days. So it s not a terribly good indicator of the best place to live . I m assuming that you must be a bored teenager who is fantasizing about living in NYC. Seems we get a lot of questions like this on Saturday nights Hmmmm!

If u can afford millions, then go to the Upper East or West side.

Where would be the best place in the US to live if I liked ....? -

a large amount of land for a reasonable price, good weather (classified as warm summers and snowy winters) with a below average amount of people?

You just said snowy winters......and you didn t qualify your land very well.Michigan - I think the whole state can be snapped up for small money. warm summers (check), snowy winters (check), everybody is moving out - so sooner or later there will be just you and Ted Nugent.Below average amount of people - you won t do better in that category than Wyoming and Vermont. Again, warm summers (check), snowy winters (check).

I don t think California meets your reasonable price criteria.Try Northern Arizona or Northern New Mexico or Southern Utah or Southern Colorado.

Utah, South Colorado, Northern Nevada, North New Mexico, Kansas, South Nebraska, Missouri and Iowa.In order, i d say.

california

Self - employed job in san francisco? -

I ve heard that you can t make a good living in san francisco if you have a 9 to 5 job or in other words if you don t have a college degree then san francisco isn t really the place for you. I m thinking about moving to san francisco and be a self employed professional. My question is that I m thinking about setting up a in home daycare, any locals believe that my business will be a great success in a city such as san francisco?

That s not something to enter into lightly. There are a lot of state and city regulations you should be familiar with, a small amount of training you have to complete, a large amount of liability you open yourself up to, and the biggest stumbling block is that if you don t own your home your landlord will be very unlikely to allow you to run a daycare business from the rental property. Not to dissuade you but it would be easier to find an apartment that allows pets than it would be to find one that would allow you to run a daycare. Move forward with this only after reading everything the state and city websites have to say on the subject. If you can make it work there are a lot of people that need this service but there are a lot of pitfalls.

I agree, you might think childcare is easier.. There are tons of permitts and bylaws to follow or else you will get sue if something happens.

I want to go dancing tonight, but Purgatory, the only 18+ club I know of in Dallas, is closed for renovations. Any suggestions? Thanks

Why don t you try a Bible club instead?
