Where would be the best place in the US to live if I liked ....? -

a large amount of land for a reasonable price, good weather (classified as warm summers and snowy winters) with a below average amount of people?

You just said snowy winters......and you didn t qualify your land very well.Michigan - I think the whole state can be snapped up for small money. warm summers (check), snowy winters (check), everybody is moving out - so sooner or later there will be just you and Ted Nugent.Below average amount of people - you won t do better in that category than Wyoming and Vermont. Again, warm summers (check), snowy winters (check).

I don t think California meets your reasonable price criteria.Try Northern Arizona or Northern New Mexico or Southern Utah or Southern Colorado.

Utah, South Colorado, Northern Nevada, North New Mexico, Kansas, South Nebraska, Missouri and Iowa.In order, i d say.
