Have you heard of venice florida? -

please answer yes or no and if you have tell me what you know about it

Yes I have and its right next to the beach its beautiful there.

Yes. Been there once. It s very nice, on the west coast of Florida. There are areas there that have sulfur springs which vent sulfur into the air. It takes awhile to used to, but otherwise it is beautiful.

I lived on Venice Island for 3 years...very nice place to live BUT everything closes early and boy does red tide stink!

Yes

yup

How long is a car drive from San Francisco, Cali to Toronto, Ontario? -

Probably 5-6 days (driving 9 or 10 hours per day).

According to Google map directions it takes about 1 day and 17 hours. Of course that doesn t include stops, so it would probably take about 3 days if you re willing to only stop over night twice, but some people can t drive that long so you might have to do it in 4 days and 3 nights.http://www.google.com/maps?f=d source=s_d saddr=San+Francisco,+CA daddr=Toronto,+ON hl=en geocode= mra=ls sll=40.313043,-81.716309 sspn=9.312666,21.643066 ie=UTF8 z=5

4 to 6 days.

Crossing the boarder...? -

So me and my step mom plan on driving into the US from Vancouver to take my grandma to the seattle airport and go shopping next weekmy real mom has cusdody of me so All I need is a letter from my real mom and my birth certificate right? I m 14. And don t have a passport.

Then you can t cross into the US. As of Jun 1, 2009 you need to have a passport or NEXUS pass. Washington residents can also cross with an Enhanced Driver s License . I don t know if Canada has something similar. I live in the Seattle area and go to BC every few months for cat shows and have a NEXUS pass. It only costs $50 and is good for 5 years. You can apply for it online and have it within the month - http://cbsa-asfc.gc.ca/prog/nexus/menu-e If you, your stepmom and your grandmother all have the pass then you can use the special NEXUS lane and get over the border FAR quicker. I came back from a recent trip and the border wait was an hour and forty minutes. I had NO waiting - just drove up, held out my pass for the scanner then was told Have a nice night. and was on my way home.edit: Charlie - if you d actually read the site you linked to you would find that you re WRONG: 1. What documents are required by a child travelling alone or with one parent or guardian? All children who travel abroad need a valid Canadian passport. Supporting identification may also include, but is not limited to, a birth certificate, citizenship certificate, landed immigrant records, or a certificate of Indian status. In addition they should have a letter from the parent stating that they consent to the travel. They do this to make sure parents or relatives aren t abducting children.

Kids 15 and under do NOT need a passport...just birth certificate . You also need signed permission from the parent who has sole custody of you.

NO. As of this past June, you need either a passport or WHTI-compliant document, i.e. a Western Hemisphere Travel Initiative document. You ll find lots of info here:http://www.gonorthwest.com/Visitor/plann

I Need Information on The Grand Canyon and Traveling? -

I need as much inforamtion as possible on the Grand Canyon and what activities children would like to do there. I also need some possible ways to travel there by car or train with children. As well as the above, I also need to know general information on the Grand Canyon, weather conditions at various times of the year, and keeping children safe and occupied while traveling.Anything and everything that you can give me will be much appreciated! :D

I don t know much about the trip, but there are a few things I can tell you. Also, the information depends on where you are when you leave, and what time of the year you are going.1) If you plan to go by car or train, it might be a long trip. If you go by car, I would suggest that you make the children s seats as comfortable as possible and stop frequently to stretch your legs and get something to eat. I would suggest that during the travel, you should play games with the children; Make pictures out of the clouds, etc.. It will be a good idea to bring video games and books on the ride. 2) I would bring a winter coat in case it gets cold. I know that it gets really cold at night, and might be a little chilly during the day. If you plan on going within the next few months, the jacket will probably be needed. When I travel by car, I always bring a jacket, sweater, long socks, thermal clothes, a book, a video game, and use pillows to make the seats comfortable. I had to go to Missouri, and we traveled by car. I am going to MN from Fl in January, so I know I need to pack lots of warmth. I suggest that you check the weather channel frequently before and during your trip. It might help decide on what to wear during the days ahead. I hoped this helped, and I m sorry I couldn t give you anymore advice.
