Search Results for quot;Hi I want to know 5pm PST / 6pm MST / 7pm CST / 8pm EST i want to know this time compared? -

Here s a world time zone map http://www.onepointed.com/dan/images/timPST - Pacific Standard TimeMST - Mountain Standard TimeCST - Central Standard TimeEST - Eastern Standard TimeIn the summer it s PDT Pacific Daylight Time etc. due to daylight savings time. Most states move their clocks an hour ahead from April thru November, it s supposedly an energy conservation thing that saves electricity by extending daylight for an extra hour in the evening.

Your question makes no sense - it really isn t a question. But, you can find info about time zones by doing a search on time zones .

In the US there are four time zones which you listed. But Hawaii is three hours later than PST. I don t know the comparison to England or other counties

Tourist things to do in NY, NY in Winter? -

I m spending New Year s in NY this year. My first time in NY. What things can I do while I m there that will still be fun in the winter? Do they do Empire State Building tours in the winter?Any suggestions helpful. :)

Yes The Empire State Building observation deck is open in the winter , wear warm clothing . If you are a museum person Ny city has several , The Museum of Natural History and Hayden Planetarium,The Guggenheim Museum , The Museum of Modern Art , The Whitney Museum to name a few . There are all the broadway shows , the production at Radio City Music Hall , Concerts at Carnegie Hall , and Lincoln Center , The Statue of Liberty , If you wake up early you can look in the window at the Today Show and Good Morning America . That is just a few things that I came up with there is a lot more . Have fun !

Bryant Park has free ice skatingyou should probably check out the holiday window displaysget a jacques torres hot chocolate http://www.mrchocolate.com/locations.aspor go to serendipity and get frozen hot chocolate http://www.serendipity3.com/i would also go to central park cause it is just so beautiful in the winter

Go to time square. Imagine being in the snow, and time square is the most beautiful place. Believe me i go there everyday. NYC in general is beautiful. You can also go to Rockefeller Ice skating rink.

Touring the empire state building would be very boring.....Just hang out on 5th ave, window shopping, resturaunts, rockfeller center ice skating (its rly fun!) Just walking around here is enjoying you don t always have to DO s.t ya know?

What to do in Disneyland California? -

I m 16 and going to Disneyland this December. We re staying a the Disneyland Hotel for 4 days. What rides and events would you recommend to do! i like pretty exciting rides! Which rides were your favourite?

Ah, from the UK are we?Don t miss:Indiana Jones AdventureStar ToursSpace MountainBig Thunder MountainReally fun: Haunted Mansion with Nightmare Before Christmas overlayPirates of the Caribbean (yo ho!)It s a Small World Holiday (cutesy, but classic)At California Adventure:Soarin Over CaliforniaCalifornia Screamin Hollywood Tower of TerrorDon t miss the Holiday Christmas Parade, or the fireworks. Please don t laugh at the fake snow at the end. It looks pretty, and it s the closest that most locals will come to snow.Great places to eat include Storyteller Cafe inside the Grand Californian Hotel, Blue Bayou inside the Pirates of the Caribbean Ride. Other good places include Carnation Cafe, Cafe Orleans, or the Plaza Inn inside Disneyland.

OOH! i love disneyland!my favorite rides are definitely the tower of terror, space mountain, mulholland madness, and california screamin . and of course the spinning teacups are a childhood classic :] the lights parade is always pretty cool too, and if you like to get wet there s the rushin river ride. also food within the park is way overpriced, but if you re going to eat in there there s an outer-space themed restaurant that s really good.

if you are there for 4 days you can see everything more than once. if you are looking for exciting rides , there arn t too many at disneyland. they do have the log ride, madahorn, and a couple other somewhat fast rides, but it s not a theme park like knotts berry farm or six flags. it s more of a disney theme.

im going in december also. the best rides are california screamin, tower of terror, space mountain, indiana jones and grizzly river. But i love every single ride

have lots of fun.

Try to ride all the big ones, see some shows, eat some cotton candy and have fun!

What is the biggest, busiest subway station in NYC? -

Probably Atlantic Avenue/Pacific Street (it s all one station) in Brooklyn. The following trains stop there:R, M, N, D, 2, 3, 4, 5, Q, B.I think that s the most of any station in NYC. As a result, more people use this station than any other. So many people change trains here. And Grand Central may be the busiest TRAIN station, but it s not the busiest SUBWAY TRAIN station. Only the 4,5,6 and S trains stop there.EDIT: You know I thought about Times Square, but it doesn t have quite as many lines going through it as Atlantic Avenue does. Time Square only has the R, N, Q, 1, 2, 3, 7, and S line going through it.There are more, if you count walking underground to the 8th Avenue subway station under Port Authority where you can get the A, E, and C trains. But that seems like a different station to me, since it s so very far away. But maybe I should count it. If so, then the combination of those two stations WOULD be the busiest, yes.

There s a lot more to busiest than how many trains stop there. Some of the busiest stations in New York only serve a few lines. The ten busiest stations in New York are all in Manhattan. This is probably because this is where the tourists and many daily commuters head to.Times Square is the busiest station with 60,880,668 riders in 2008. And that doesn t count the 42nd St. station which it s connected to on the 8th Ave. line.So the10 busiest staions in 2008 in order are:Times Square 60,880,668Grand Central 44,600,73834/Herald Sq. 39,040,94314/Union Sq. 35,545,65334/Penn Station (1,2,3) 28,343,88934/Penn Station (A,C,E) 26,013,43259/Columbus Cir. 20,858,19753/Lexington 20,475,05359/Lexington 20,053,574Fulton/Broadway-Nassau 19,813,040Atlantic Ave./Pacific St. which is in Brooklyn and another poster said had to be the busiest because it had the most lines only handled 10,121,151. Not even the busiest station in Brooklyn behind Court St./Borough Hall with 10,698,228.

The Times Square subway station is the busiest subway station in the entire New York City subway system. It serves more the 60 million passengers annually.Good luckNative New Yorker and daily commuter
