Can I please get a link to a good nyc accent? -

My pen pal says she has a nyc accent, but idk what that is so if you ccould post a link to a clip of a nyc accent that d be great. ;D

There are actually several New York accents and they even vary by borough. Also, the stereotypical New York accent is also heard in New Orleans. Try viewing, CSI New York. The main male character has the most authentic New York accent on the series. If you like the Law and Order series set in New York you will also hear several typical accents.

Joy Behar has a New York accent. So does Howard Stern. Fran Drescher has a great Brooklyn accent (although she claims to be from Joisey). Brooklyn has it s own accent, different from anywhere else. I happen to like it a lot myself and people love to hear it wherever I go.

something like this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=riB1KgGq8But not all New Yorkers talk like that, there s more than 1 accent in New York. It depends where you come from. I was told I had a New York accent couple of months ago by somebody from the west coast, I didn t know what to think of it because i don t even sound like the guy in the video

This might work :) http://www.hyundaiusa.com/accent/

You can find some on Youtube.

Search youtube for New York accent . You ll find plenty of videos.

Where to buy cool/custom/unique Nikes? -

I am traveling to Santa Monica in December and would like a list of retailers in the Santa Monica/Los Angeles/Hollywood area where I can buy unique Nikes. Preferably I d like some Nike dunks, but a retailer with a selection will do.If you know any places or where I can find a list of locations online please let me know. Thank you.

RIF on 2nd St. in Little Tokyo would be the place to go. They import Nike s from Japan. Flight Club on Fairfax in LA is also a good place to check out.

If you have the time drive to the Nike Factory Store in San Ysidro. Best prices around. They sell LeBron shoes for $45.00 elsewhere selling around $150. My son bought size 17 baseball cleats there for only $79.00.If you have the time and want to pickup several different items it may be worth it.Neighborhood: San Ysidro4445 Camino De La PlzShops at Las Americas(between Louisiana Ave New Orleans Ave) San Ysidro, CA 92173(619) 428-8849
