Where are the good bars and hotels to stay at in Boston? -

A friend and I are going to Boston for a few days at the end of December and I would love to know where the best bars are to go and what hotel we should stay at. I ve been looking at the Omni Parker Hotel, I want something downtown so we can walk everywhere and not have to hail a taxi when we are drunk. Thanks!

Boston is a compact city but it is still a 2 to 2 1/2 mile walk from its entrtainment and bar area near Kenmore at its commercial southwest to the North Station area at its commercial northeast. In between are the uptown back Bay, Copley, Park Square, Haymarket/Fanueil Hall and North End areas. (The Omni Parker House is located between Park Square and Fanueil Hall - closer to the latter). Then there is Cambridge, too!!!! The subway does connect them all, but it stops operating a little before the bars close.

there are quite a few sites that you can search that will likely show you great hotels at the best prices available. check out the website BookMe and you will be able to compare prices on all the reputable travel sites in just a couple minutes. it s very convenient and will save you a bunch of time and money. Also, make sure you buy them online... otherwise they charge much higher fees for phone orders. good luck.

Wheres the best place to live in new jersy if you dont want to get affected by a hurricane? -

please help

Move inland. The coast usually gets battered (like it did this past week) but inland areas will only get moderate rain/wind.

Anywhere inland, away from the coast. We re protected on all sides from hurricanes by mountains in Virginia, New York and Pennsylvania that break them up before they get to us and I ve never seen one in 30 years of living here.

Can anyone tell me what their favorite hotel is and why? -

It s a tie between the Venetian and Caesars for me - I love the location of both, we had great rooms in both places, and we found the service at both hotels to be fantastic. I like the pool area of Caesars better, but the food court and shopping at Venetian better.

Of the ones I ve stayed at: Aladdin (now Planet Hollywood). Went there for honeymoon, got free room upgrade, treated wonderfully, and great hotel features. My friends prefer the Rio because they ve always been treated good, and they love the atmosphere.

Flamingo for location. (getting worn out though).Stratosphere for price and economical but good buffet. (lousy location).Planet Hollywood for shopping.Las Vegas Hilton (is it still a Hilton?) for conventions at the LVCC.I wish I could find a perfect one.

Carson Hot Springs Resort Washington is my personal favorite. Never been as relaxed. Its my favorite spa.

Stratosphere, The staff were very friendly and helpful, the food was good and rooms clean oh! and the slots pay out regularly

PalazzoHuge roomsNice, clean bathroomsAwesome restaurants and shopping

Holiday Inn, it s comfortable. And they have those cool commercials.

The Stratosphere. It s the cheapest on the strip...if it s still there and not torn down by now...

Encore, here s a review I wrote, with photos: http://hubpages.com/hub/Encore-Las-Vegas
