What is with the fireworks? -

For the last 3 weeks i have been hearing alot of fireworks by pearl harbor. does anyone know why?

It s the build up to New Year s Eve. It starts by mid December, sporadically, by the end of the month, it is most every night. And New Year s Eve is like a war zone. Dogs need to be sedated, people with pulmonary problems need to stay inside w/ the windows closed, it s nuts.

It s because New Years is approachingIt s like this every year during the holidaysSome scare the crap outta me lollike, out of nowhere, I hear a BOOM

weddings?...if only..

no idea sry

What is there in San Diego for New Years thats fun, romantic, and has fireworks? -

I ve never gone down to san diego before for new years but this year me and my bf were thinking of going there and checking it out! we just want maybe a nice restaurant by the beach to go to with fun surrounding areas to do other things and then to have a good view of some new years fireworks! any fun suggestions would be great!! i haven t really had many fun new years so i want to make this one a good one!!

Hornblower has a great cruise with dinner, dancing....and fireworks viewed from the water. Lots of romantic fun!

Awwww =)I ll make sure u have a wonderful time;)How old r u guys? Im jc :)Okay well, Belmont Park is great. There is a restaraunt called North Shore Cafe, you can see the water right from your seat. When I was there the water was so beautiful. I was like.. we have THAT color water in SD? And I didn t know? :P And of course.. You can eat there for that beautiful sunset;)Oh and fyi... Our sun is setting rli early over here... Like at 5pm it gets dark or starts to get dark I think. But yea... In addition to the restaraunt... there is Belmont Park! Haha. Rollercoaster.. Boardwalk type of a thing. I think it s super cute. It has shops... Of course the beach is right there as well.. A nice heated indoor pool that is usually very quiet and very nice. Other rides, games, and now an indoor mini golf.Oh ANDDD Sea World is not too far so u d be able to see their fireworks!! Don t ya just love me;) Hehe. You GOTTA hit me up thru email if you go:) Have a gr8 time.

What is the name of the mountain just outside seattle..the one that looms over the city.? -

Mount Rainier. But it hardly looms over the city . It s 2 1/2 hours Southeast of Seattle http://www.nps.gov/MORA/index.htm

yea what they said...but their are ALOT of mountains here, the cascades, etc.Mt.Rainer is snow capped year round, the cascades are usually green and snow capped now.

Ah silly thats the volcanoe, Mount Rainier. Heres picture of it. http://images.search.yahoo.com/search/im

Mount Ranier. If you go to Lake Washington, there s a perfect view of it, it s so pretty! At least durring the summer when you can still see it. (:

YOU CAN ONLY SEE MT. RAINIER 180 DAYS OUT OF THE YEAR!

Mt. Rainier. It s a dormant volcano.

Seattle seattle, such a graceful town, it s worse than Hirosaki

Not only Seattle but much of the rest of the state as well. It s Mt. Ranier

Mount Rainier

that would be mt rainier

If you were in San Francisco, what souvenir would you like to get? -

My little sisters are trying to create a craft that they can sell down on pier 39 to earn some money. I would like to know the opinion of others. Thanks

I would get something that symbolizes the Golden Gate bridge.

Primitive Living Locations? -

Anybody know where i can live primitive in the wild of north america for about 1 year Legally? I want it to be a place where i will be left alone and can construct a permanent shelter for my stay there instead of moving around evey 14 days. Also need to be a place that i cant hunt and grow food.I need a break from society and its mayhem and the weekend campin trips arent doing it for me anymore, and since i have lost my job and the most part of my life this would be the perfect oppurtunity for me to carry out a life long dream while hopefully when i return the economy will be back on track. All information will be greatly appreciated.

It can get pretty remote out in the middle of Arkansas ( which is a beautiful state. Its The Natural State) I camped at Blue Mountain once. It about 100 miles from Ft Smith and about 100 from Little RockIt was a regular campsite but you expected to see Daniel Boone come walking thru the trees at any moment. Only 3 campsites but they did have power. Ive heard they even have squatters rights in some parts of Arkansas, still. Im not sure how much truth there is in it. Stick to the NW portion.http://www.arkansas.com/There are REAL pimitive camp areas there. Im not sure about just going out living in the wild tho. There are real hillbillies out there living too.
