RELOCATING TO ST PAUL MN? -
provide a bit more detail and I can help you find a place. Do you want to be near downtown - what sort of budget do you have - near a university, a close in neighborhood???????I ll check back to see what you have added.UPDATE - I would pick the Como area BUT better check ahead because there just are not many section 8 places anymore - won t do you any good to have a voucher if there is no place to live.
White Bear Lake is a nice area. Acutally St. Paul itself is nice. You should enjoy living there. Bundle up in the Winter time.
Can I live on 2K in Bensonhurst, NY? -
i live in bensonhurst. basically, 2k will do but it ll be very tight. i live in my own home so i m not sure what the price of rent is but i believe it should be anywhere from 1000 to maybe 1300 (for private houses). there are also some apartment buildings in the area but they re private apartments so i am not sure what the rent is like for those. so you ll have some leftover money after rent for maybe other bills or expenses such as transportation etc. it ll probably be a bit easier if maybe you have some savings to back you up in case you find yourself short on money.good luck, and bensonhurst is a nice neighborhood to live in.
Bensonhurst is a relatively cheap neighborhood to live in. with the right connections and the right location, you can have a studio apt for ~600 a month, 1br for ~800, 2br for ~1-1.2k. (my current studio is 550/month, ~400sf)so 2k a month is definitely doable, esp if you find a roommate to split rent with you.
It s doable, but you don t leave much room for saving for the future.
We don t know your standard of living. Give us a clue, where do you live now and on how much?
Does anyone in Houston, Texas know of any events that have fake snow? (Bellaire preferrably)? -
Bellaire always has a winter holiday festival at the park by the police station in December. I believe it s called Holiday in the Park . and I think it has fake snow, but maybe not. Another event that I know of that usually has fake snow that s not necessarily in Houston is Dickens on the Strand in Galveston.
Galleria mall has fake snow each hour. And discovery Green,And the woodlands mall. call first just to confirm the details.
Don t they usually have something downtown around Christmas break? I would guess a call to the city switch board or the Chronicle might get you an answer.
They used to have something like that every year at Bayland Park. Look into that.Good luck!
Is it possible to rebuild Detroit ? -
Of course their is a way to rebuild Detroit. It would take a lot of reform of local government, and architecture but I can t see why it wouldn t be possible. I would bet it would take at least 10 years though.
It could be done. The challenge is getting people to agree upon what a rebuilt Detroit should include.
Where is a good place to meet nice people in Los Angeles on a weeknight? -
If you think you might be interested in a support group this one is held on a Wednesday night. I ve heard it s a pretty good group that also does some social activities together. I thought of going but it s too far from where I live, etc.WED 8pm Social Anxiety/Shynesshttp://www.shareselfhelp.org/directory_mAlso, this website looks interestinghttp://www.mypeopleconnection.com/index.and there is http://www.meetup.com You might find a small group of people who share an interest you have.

What are some cheap, safe neighborhoods in NYC for a twenty-something female? -
Well, it s a little-known fact that there are actually lots of affordable apartments on the east side of the swanky Upper East Side, so, if you got a job up there, then look for an apartment up there, too, especially in the Yorkville area, which is the northern-most and eastern-most part of the UES, near Gracie Mansion, the Mayor s residence.Good luck, and the link below is to a webpage about real estate on the UES, and the links on the left side of that page will take you to webpages about all of New York City s other neighborhoods, too...
go as cheap as u can possibly find, even if the neighborhood is bad, cuz with part of the difference u save, u are gonna hire a big, strong guy to be ur bodyguard and walk u home after 11pm each night.
Im a Realtor here in the city with Metropolitan Property. Email me if you need help finding a place. Move2Manhattan@yahoo.com
How much does esthetician earn in san diego? -
Sorry I don t know about esthetician places in San Diego, but I just wrote to say I understood EVERYTHING you wrote in English.I have a family member in an esthetician program in California right now. I can tell you that it s quite expensive, and the teachers in the program have said that:1) you need to live in a large urban area in order to make a living as an esthetician2) only 3% of licensed estheticians renew their license after the first 3 years. This should tell you that it s very hard to be successful as an esthetician. I think a good school could tell you more about this, or maybe even the state board: http://www.barbercosmo.ca.gov/applicantsGood luck.
Work on your English and re-post the question.
Where would you suggest staying for Christmas and New Years in FLORIDA? -
Since there are 6 people in your group, renting a house or a condo would be a great idea. There are lots of choices for rentals in the Miami area. It s best to do your homework and use online research to find available places to stay that fit within your budget.Rather than give you a specific property name and location, I would suggest that you do some research on the available houses/condos, the prices and the locations. I have used justvr.com in the past and it was quite helpful for narrowing down my choices and booking a few nights stay.
If I were you I would definitely try to rent a timeshare week. If you have kids it is the only way to go. You can cook and eat in your unit and save hundreds by avoiding restaurants! I would definitely plan to stay in the Disney area for the New Years part of your holiday for the fireworks alone! You might be pushing your luck if you think you will definitely have beach weather in December. If you can get a spot at the Fountains in Orlando it has a lovely water park right on site. There is a resort called Summer Bay over near Kissimmee and it has a LOT to offer too. I canvassed some Floridians and they tend to agree that Clearwater area is the place to be for beaches. Beware of a company called Payless for a car rental. They scare you into buying insurance you do not necessarily need. Our great deal cost us nearly 125 dollars extra.Have a great time folks! And by the way... AVOID Miami... VERY dangerous I have been told .... and by people who live in the area.
At this late date, I d suggest you take anything you can get! You could try HomeAway.com - perhaps they ve had some cancellations. Or, use one of the usual travel websites [Travelocity, Expedia, etc.] and see what s available. You ll pay a premium for Christmas and New Year s weeks, of course, and being right on the beach will add to the cost.Hope you can find something nice!
Quit asking this form of questions - money is one of the least critical points of human life!
