Traffic in the AM San Francisco to Daly City? -

I am visiting San Francisco in February, would like to stay in the city and commute to Daly City where I will be attending a training off of I-280 and Junipero Serra Blvd. Is the commute heavy leaving the city in the mornings? I m not familiar with San Francisco traffic conditions and would hate to book somewhere in the city and find out its hell to get out of the city in the morning. Currently I m looking at a hotel in Japan Town which brings up another question, is Japan Town a safe area? I m from Phoenix and I m used to quiet suburbs I m just afraid of ending up somewhere that is not safe. Last time I was in San Francisco I stayed in DAly City near the building I need to be at, although the hotel was nice the area was not and I was afraid to be outside at night.

It s tough to give an exact idea of how long it will take, both because commute varies depending on time, route, etc... and because Junipera Serra runs along 280 all the way through Daly City (so 280 and Junipero Serra isn t a definite point). That said, yes, morning traffic is very bad in San Francisco (particularly along major routes, which obviously you d be taking) and it will be pretty hellish. But manageable! During morning rush hour, I d give yourself around 45-50 minutes to get from the middle of SF to Daly City (may only take 40, if you re lucky).Japantown is a perfectly safe area... but if you re afraid of Daly City at night, I doubt you ll *feel* safe. It s next to a large development of housing projects and bordering the Fillmore, which can get seedy at night (I mean, there are restaurants and music venues, so it really is very safe... but the not to rare crazy and panhandler mixed in). But bordering Japantown to the north is Pacific Heights, which is very affluent, quiet, and *looks* safe (and is, but so are the other areas... they just don t look it) to an outsider. However, it s convenient to getting on 280.If you d feel more comfortable in a suburban-ish area that s still convenient to getting where you need to go (be it via 280 or Skyline), hotels suggestions would be Seal Rock Inn (Outer Richmond) and Oceanview Motel (Outer Sunset). For non-suburban but still very fluffy (though not quite as convenient, but not too bad), Laurel Inn (Laurel Heights) is great.

Japantown has a good and bad side, near Safeway s side is bad.. there s a bit of traffic in the morning, but it s ok.. You should have stay in SFO Airport, which is still close to 280. See if you can change it.

Why do I want to move to Wisconsin? -

I was born, raised, and lived my entire life in Northern Virginia. I have grown to despise the people here, which seems to me that they just come here from other parts of the country to destroy the area and reap its benefits. Here is my story: I am a senior in collegeI am a devote Green Bay Packer fan,I ve been to WI many times (but only in the summer....I know plenty about the winters in WI. Don t lecture me about how cold it is. Believe me, I know)I want to live in a small townBUT- My entire family is in Virginia, I know just a few people in Wisconsin. Being away from my family won t bother me much, but I will still need to see them.I just don t understand why I want to go there, but I really do want to live there and leave my area. Can anyone tell me why (psychological reasons perhaps)?

it seems like because you have visited there a couple of times you seem to like it there and your instinct is telling you to move over there.

Excellent question. Why on Earth would you want to move to Wisconsin????

Furry four-legged dogs are generally not allowed in hotels and certainly not on tour buses. Leave your pooch with a trusted relative or friend. Another option is to board your pet at a kennel.Enjoy Vegas and beware of two-legged dogs. Most of the women in Vegas are serious dogs, real howling ugly dogs. They bark for cheeseburgers and beer while scratching their fleas.

Depends on how much money you have. Whales (big gamblers) and Celebs can do anything in Vegas. If you are a regular person the rules will apply. Why don t you check with your local vet and see if they will board the pup ? Most can take small dogs and puppies. I suggest a vet only because I think the conditions are better than most kennels.

None of the major hotels on the strip will allow pets. You can go to this website and on the right side of the page you will see Pets . There you can find pet friendly hotels in Vegas that allow pets. Not allowed on tour buses either.

Major hotels and casinos on the Strip allow only service dogs but you may find some Inns and small palces off the Strip. I would suggest to leave your dog with friends or a sitter or in a dog hotel. Some Petsmarts have dog hotels. Hope it helps

Animals are not allowed in Strip hotels or on buses, etc. However, the hotel casino Westin Casarina does and you can leave the dog in the room.

Here are the hotels listing in Las Vegas, here you can self know that its allowed or not check out at here http://www.disholidays.com/hotels/las-vegas-hotels.html

I remember seeing some guide dogs in the Orleans casino and they didnt say anything.. I also know the super 8 hotel on Kovel street allows pet, call the hotel of choice and ask them!

thats why you board your dog or find someone near home to watch the dog

Last time i went there you could of only bring small dogs like chioa-oa. :]
