Anyone live in Omaha, NE? -

Might be moving there and interested in knowing what it s like. Anything you can share would be helpful. Thank you!

Yeah i used to live in Bellevue, NE. Its a few miles south of Omaha. Well i wouldnt go as far as to say it sucks but it is rather spacious there. There are lots of places to go camping and to escape from a big city life. With the luxury of having a large city near by. I would say my time there was enjoyable. I can still go to Omaha for the malls and movies and stuff like that. Then just travel a few miles back to bellevue for a little space . Now nebraska is not really home to me but i did enjoy my time there. A few great places are like the old market is downtown and has cool little bars and shops. And my favorite mall was the Westroads mall. Hope this helps

Is it really bad to strip at a strip club? -

once or 2 ce for money and just to experiment?

Well I like going to stripclubs, but the girls always do have to dance a lot. Mostly is guys that want to **** you and u have to resist it,I had this blonde with huge **** damn I love vegas.

No, that s why they are called STRIP clubs!

If you do not mind degrading yourself. It is also a great place to start your downward spiral.*

what does this have to do with travel?

Is Houston a gay friendly city? -

Wondering if Houston as a whole is accepting of gay people? Are the suburbs of Houston accepting? Does Houston have a good crime rate and where are the best places/side of Houston to live? Also what are the areas to avoid there becasuse of crime rates? Thanks

Houston is actually a very gay friendly city, with a lot of recreational spaces open to the community, especially in the Montrose area and other areas near the center. As most suburbs in any major city, they are mostly quiet and impersonal, and you can definitely keep to yourself if that s what you choose to do. However, if you want more of a sense of community, live in Montrose, which is the historically gay neighborhood turned gentrified hip area of Houston. There is also a lot of fun things to do around the Heights, Midtown, Museum district, Rice U, Upper Kirby, River Oaks, Downtown, EaDo (East of downtown), and Eastwood. Lots of historical, cute neighborhoods and sporadic pockets of culture. As in any city, the center is more accepting of alternative lifestyles. I personally prefer the center to the suburbs (of course!). Houston is very friendly and welcoming to all sorts of people, and I love that!Edit: I forgot to mention that we just elected Annise Parker to our mayoral office, who is the second openly gay mayor of a large city in the US. That should let you know a little bit of how accepting this wonderful city is! Good luck!

I can tell you it s probably NOT going to be accepting. Texas as a whole is a VERY conservative state and they really don t take homosexuality well. My college friend is gay and they moved from Kashmere Gardens in Houston (5 months ago) back to New Mexico. If you are going to move to Texas (Houston area), don t live close to the city and keep a low profile. As far as Crime goes-Crime varies. Property crime is much higher than violent crime but their local crime rate is higher than National averages.Hope that helps! Be safe!

For the most part. There are a lot of openly gay people in River Oaks where I used to live next to Montrose which has a lot of gay lesbian bars. It s not like San Francisco but you won t be shot or hung by rednecks like in some places. Avoid the southwest side (I.E. Sharpstown area), Southeast side by the Hobby Airport, Anything ending in ward, also Acres Homes, Spring Branch anywhere off Airline, Crosstimbers, Yale, Jensen, Harwin, or Fondren. Best but sometimes expensive areas are Sugarland, Clear Lake, Memorial, Kingwood, Woodlands, Tanglewood Cinco Ranch.

I think Houston is a very friendly city. If you are aware of the fact the city is made up of a wide variety of people, and everyone reacts to things differently, then you won t be surprised. I think Houston suffers from an outdate reputation that no longer reflects what a great city it is and the opportunities it offers.

Yes. We just elected the first openly gay Mayor of a large city, Annise Parker. Houston is a city which is very accepting of most anyone. The suburbs are mostly young families but most will be pretty accepting too. Houston is huge, 600 sq. miles, so you need to figure out where you will be working, then ask us for good areas near that. If you have a choice, Montrose has the highest concentration of gays with lots of gay bars and is centrally located. Crime is no worse than any other city of the same size.

gays i know happen to be all friendly.it s 21st century, who gives a blank?

yeah, its accepting.there are parts that are more accepting-montrose, and parts that are less-but overall yeah

The suburbs are probably not the best idea...

it is now

Where should i go? LA or NYC? -

I m planning on moving to a big city or a nice beach surrounding. And NYC and LA just popped up in my head. I know NYC is pretty hecktic and so is LA. I m wanting real experiences of how it is to live in any of these cities. Or like Miami or Orlando or something.

LA and NYC are totally different. if you like the beach, fashion, and warm weather move to LA. if you re into diversity, seasons, and a bustling city, move to NYC.

Hey please my suggestion for New York so you have to go there first-Some of New York City s best attractions and landmarks are free to visit. With the cost of hotels, restaurants and more, visiting some of New York City s free attractions and landmarks will help you stretch your New York City travel budget.1. My moms birthday is coming up in January, where should we go in NYC? -

We decided to spend a day in NYC and I m wondering if there is somewhere amazing to go with my mom on her birthday. No we re not tourists so places like the MET and the Empire State Building are not ideal.Thank you!!!

Go to Ellen s Stardust Diner! It s amazing the staff are practically broadway stars and they sing and dance throughout your whole dinner like a show! Totally worth checking it out.

You can take her shopping at the Macy s. You know, the biggest one with 7 floors! It s really fun to go shopping. Just make sure that you have the money and she isn t the one paying, otherwise, it would be like her buying herself a present

Where to eat on 21st bday? Vegas? -

It is on January 11th... we are looking to spend about 50 a person. What are some good places to eat for a 21st birthday we want something nice on the strip. Also it is on a Monday. We want to have fuuun

the samba grill in the mirage.

Kahunaville in Treasure Island. It is a restaurant and party bar. Links below. The party bar features flare bartenders that put on quite a show and get the crowds fired up. There is a DJ, no cover charge, casual dress code and big delicious tropical drinks. Perfect place to enjoy your birthday. There are a few party bars in Vegas but this is my favorite. It is so much more fun than the very expensive attitude clubs where a bunch of people dress in clothes they don t usually wear, stand around drinking drinks they don t normally drink, listening to music they don t normally listen to after standing in line for hours and paying a fortune to get in and $15 for a Red Bull. Go to Kahunaville for dinner and drinks afterward. You will be glad you did. *

If you want to EAT never mind the place... you should try The Buffet at the Bellagio, it was ranked among the best buffets on USA.If you want something more like a special or romantic place, I recommend the Eiffel Tower. If you want fun, there is a nice Outback right on the strip.Enjoy!

If you want somewhere on the strip, then Palms and Rio will NOT be suitable. I suggest the Carnival Court bar and grill in Harrah s, the Mesa Grill or Spago in Caesars Palace or the Eiffel Tower Restaurant inside of Paris. Bon apetit!

Hmmm i would go to N9Ne steakhouse inside the palms or second the Voodoo lounge inside the Rio hotel!! You might want to check em both out! There cater to your age group and both are very hip places!! I been to both locations!

Texas de Brazil.. awesome steak / meat house... 50 a pop.. and on south end of strip... Benihana - Japanese.. North end..

I would suggest you look at one of the restaurants at Orleans, just off Strip and a local favorite.

On strip: Stripsteak (Mandalay Bay); Stack (The Mirage); Off strip: Nobu at the Hard Rock

I prefer to be eatin on my birthday

choose a very special place, I would recommend googling it
