moving to mililani,hi from alaska is there a city bus that travels from mililani to schofield
If you are coming from the south end of Mililani on the Kam highway, you will catch the 62, but if you live somewhere off of the Kuahelani, you can catch the 52 straight up to Wahiawa. Once the bus intercom says Kamehameha and Santos DuMont, Wheeler Army Airfeld you can get off and either walk through Wheeler or walk by the lake to get to Schofield. I walk the Wheeler route and it takes me 40 minutes to get from the far side of wheeler to the far side of schofield. I never use the bus that goes from Wahiawa Town to Schofield because it only comes about once an hour. You can also go to the The Bus website or call (808)-848-5555 and they can help you a bit more.
I know of the 52 and 62; You just have to make sure that you go in the correct direction though. (I ve seen it happen once - wrong bus direction) ^^;;
I know that the bus does run that way. If you have addresses to type into the search fields, you can get specific information on routes schedules.http://www.thebus.org/
At least you will be going in the right direction, as far as morning traffic goes. The heavy morning traffic goes into town toward Waikiki in the morning. You might even want to get a moped.
