I want to travel to usa? -

i want to travel to usa do i need a visa ? if so how can i get one...im from englandi have a criminal record wich aint too bad but aint too good if this mattersplease explain to me how to go about doin this

Since you have a criminal record, you cannot travel to the U.S. under the visa waiver program. You may or may not qualify for a visa. See sites below.

For up to six months of visit, you do not need a visa to enter USA. I am from Japan and been living in USA for 35 years now, whenever my folks come for a visit to USA, they do not have any visa. They of course visit for only 2 weeks.

Does New York City have a large population? -

Does the NYC have a large Hispanic population and hispanic areas like Los Angeles and other U.S cities.I love the hispanic culture and im gonna be traveling to NYC for new years eve but i will be staying there for a week.I come from Canada so we don t have many hispanics or hispanic areas so im just looking for an area where i can get food from south of the Rio grande and shops that sell stuff .I heard that theres an area called Spanish harlem whats that like and is there more areas around the city ?Thanks for your help

New York City does have a large Hispanic population, and Puerto Ricans are one of the top 5 largest ethnic groups of NYC.Spanish Harlem (also known as El Barrio) is in upper Manhattan. The most famous street of El Barrio is East 116th st. El Barrio basically is from East 100th st to around East 125th st, and is between 5th Avenue and the East River.Washington Heights is another Hispanic neighborhood, and most of the hispanic residents there are Dominican. To get to Washington heights, take the A or C to any stop between 153rd st and 175th st. You can also take the D and the 1 to get to the heights. The most famous corner/a.k.a. the heart of the heights is 168th st and Broadway. In Brooklyn, Williamsburg has a good mixed hispanic population, which is concentrated on the South Side. To get there, take the J and get off anywhere between Marcy Avenue and Flushing Avenue. You can also take the L and get off at Montrose Avenue or Graham Avenue and then walk South from there. Or, you can also take the G and get off at the Broadyway station.Bushiwck also has a Hispanic population, and Bushwick is right next to Williamsburg. As for Queens, Jackson Heights, Elmhurst, and Corona have the largest Hispanic Areas. To get to those areas, take the 7 and get off anywhere between 69th st and 111th st. You can also take the E,F, R or V to the 74th st/Roosevelt station. As for the Bronx, Hunts Point, Morrisania, and the whole South Bronx area have a good Hispanic population. To get to those areas, you can take the 1,2,4,5,6 or the D.

Facts:About 8 million people live in NYCKings (Brooklyn) is the 7th most populated county in the U.SQueens is the 9th most populated county in the U.SNYC is the most city with the most Hispanics in the U.SNYC has people from all different backgrounds, and cultures.

8 million, sure, that s a large population.I would say the Hispanic population is one of the largest minority groups in the city. So you won t have any problems finding them in any of the boroughs.
