What are some good hotels in Las Vegas, Nevada? -

The Wynn is the most prestige hotel on the strip, but it is really expensive to rent a room there. However, if you have the money, it is totally worth it.If you want a cheaper quality hotel, I d say either The Excalibur or Mandalay Bay

It s hard to give a good answer, without knowing information like how much you want to pay. Some really nice, high-class, and expensive hotels include Wynn/Encore, Venetian/Palazzo, and Bellagio. Caesars ranks nearly up there with those hotels, but tends to be less expensive. It s very nice as well though. Some nice mid-range places include Mirage, MGM, NYNY, Treasure Island, and Mandalay Bay.Some good budget to low-mid-range places would be Harrah s, Bally s, Flamingo, Luxor, and Excalbur. All of those are nice places. I would avoid Stratosphere, Circus Circus, Sahara, and Riviera. Imperial Palace has a great location on the strip, but it s really not that nice of a place. It s clean enough, but old and run-down. Great rates though, and an awesome location.

The best hotels in Las Vegas are the large resorts on the Strip. Wynn, Encore, Bellagio, Palazzo, Venetian, and Mandalay Bay are typically rated well.

we always stay at the wynn and its superb !!!!!!!!!!!!!!1 we had one night at the trump hotel which was very dull, no atmosphre and one night in the palzzo - it was ok, room was good. we had a parlour suite in the wynn for 6 nights and it was amazing !!!!

Harrahs, Flamingo Ballys are nice, reasonable right in the middle of the strip

For sure. All the hotels on Strip are good. Best price recently was Excalibur

Anyone ever been to the Ft. Lauderdale Winterfest Boat Parade? -

I want to take my family to see the Ft. Lauderdale Boat Parade this year, but I ve never been and I m not sure what the best way would be to go about it. I know there is tickets available for grandstand seating in Hugh Taylor State Park, as well as the possibility of bringing blankets/chairs and finding a spot along the seawall in the state park as well. The problem is that we won t have all day to stake out a spot (my husband is in graduate school, and we have two small kids who will tire of sitting out for hours on end reserving a spot.) I also know there are some hotels hosting viewing events, but those are too expensive for us. Are there any less crowded public viewing areas? Is most of the new river off of Las Olas packed with people during the parade? Are the tickets for grandstand worth the cash ($21 adults, and $16 for kids)? Will buying tickets save us a lot of time vs. trying to find another spot to watch it? Also, approx how long does the parade go for?

The viewing area is nice as all boats stop in front of the stands to be judged viewed plus you can hear the music and commentators and all the other activity that happens there and you have a place to sit. If the cost is an issue, the show can been seen anywhere along the canal, go to any cross street you will find everybody in the neighborhood on lawn chairs All drawbridges are in the up position for the round trip duration of the parade. The show should take about an hour but times vary there are gaps between boats as they often move at different speeds. The kids may find that part dull. The farther north from the starting point the longer it will take for the boats to get there. Don t bother trying to stake a spot, it is not necessary, it is very easy to view.Note; The next day, Sunday Dec 13, is the Pompano Beach Boat Parade, many of the boats will be in both parades. A good free viewing spot is the park at the 14th street Causeway the Intercoastal.

To answer a few of your questions, I have never seen the parade from land, only from a yacht in the water. However, the parade route did change a couple of years ago to allow for more land viewing. Go online and look at the parade route and see if you can locate a favorite restaurant that the kids may be more comfortable at or perhaps the waterfront library - don t know the name of it. But the parade starts on the riverfront and extends all the way up to nearly Atlantic Blvd. If you decide to purchase the tickets, it is worth it - the show is certainly a treat to combine the holiday lights with our Florida waters. The parade lasts as long as there are boats - each year is different since private vessels must sign up and decorate and attend the parade, so no way to know exactly how long the parade will last. Plan on at least 2 hours though.Hope this helps.

Do you like rainy days? -

I live in a place without a lot of rain? It rains today. I like rainy days. Like someone says....it is nice to get a warm blanket sitting in front of a fire place and read a book. Do you like rainy days? Share your thoughts!

Not a big fan of rain, unless it comes in the form of thunderstorms. And I hate snow. Personally, I prefer warm dry sunny weather

i LOVE rainy days i live in the desert in Washington, i know weird and boring, and it is such a thrill to get rainy days! we had a thunderstorm last summer and my friends and i went out into the middle of bfe just to watch. it was so amazing to see the lightning strike all around us. We reported several fires that started and even watched lightning strike the main power building thing. the next day we found out that there were 14 fires started. it was awesome!! i love rainy days :)

I love rainy days! They are my favorite. I like to use my space heater, and read a book. I also like walking in the rain and smelling the weird rain smell. Haha. Its so fun. But I hate snowy days. Its too cold. And its snowing today:(

I enjoy cloudy days. Some rain is okay, as long as it isn t flooding rain. I hate hot weather and I m not that fond of the sun, especially in the summer.

To me, a born/bred native of Washington, it depends on the harshness of the falling of the rain.

i do like that, as well as the rain but not 4 ever, or every freaking day, god we need some worm weather

yes i like rain a lot better than snow that we get

I love rain 3

Where can I find a good psychic medium in Kansas (close to Overland Park)? -

I want to find a medium in Kansas but I don;t want to go to one that is a fake.

There is no such thing as a good psychic medium. They put on a phony act like the WWE.

Darcee Scheer, NJ medium who charges after the readings; no ccs only check or mo. I work for myself can be reached at 201.874.8901. Please don t provide me with any details. I will bring thru names, dates what someone passed from. My prices are $25/15, $50/30, $75/45 $100/1 hr. Report Abuse

First, it is not necessary to interface with a psychic in person. Genuine psychics can give very accurate readings over the phone, email, internet, webcam, etc.. Real psychics are able to connect with the energy of the person from anywhere in the world and be able to give very accurate readings and advice on the specifics of the problem at hand. They work with the energy of the person, pictures, etc... This is why many genuine psychics have clients all over the world, not just locally. And most work by word of mouth. This is why most people have trouble finding a genuine accurate professional psychic. Because the good ones are hard to find, and for some odd reason, those people that have one seem to want to keep their psychics to themselves.Second, each psychic has different gifts and different degrees of power, so just because you go to one psychic and they are not able to help in one area doesn t mean that a different psychic cannot either. I ve seen many cases where one psychic cannot help but another can. The psychic ability is a God-given gift and it s not the same for everyone who has it.Hope that helps. If you d like feel free to contact me.

The International House of Prayer has what they call prophecy rooms . It is really cool. I have gone before and everything they said was true. I really felt the love of God. All the people are really nice and while you wait for your turn to go in you can sit in the prayer room where they have live worship music that is really good. To get an appointment you can email prophecyrooms@ihop.org Also the address is 3535 E. Red Bridge Rd, Kansas City, MO. It s not far from Overland Park.

Go to the white light book store on 39th st a few blocks east of KU med center. On the weekends they regularly have people of a number of skills offering service in store, they could at the very least offer you a good referral. Happy hunting. ;)
