you might want to check carpertina or oxnard beaches since they would be closerto what you want to and amtrak even has a stop at Carpinteria matthann beach and oxnard are about 30 miles apartnow depending on what day and time you want to leaveLADOT has their line 438 which will take you from Mannhattan beach toLos Angeles, say to 7th and Figeroura take to 1st or Temple)and then board the D dash bus to Union stationthen you can take amtrak to oxnardnote the 438 only runs in the AM to los angeles
Get to LAX.. They have a bus that runs a few times a day to the Ventura Airport called: Ventura County Airporter. Also there is Roadrunner Shuttle that goes there. I don t know the Ventura County Airporter s phone number, but Roadrunner is: 1-800-247-7919 Both leave from LAX and you do not have to be on an airplane to ride on them.
Go to LAX and get the Flyaway Bus to Union Station.From there take the Metrolink, Ventura County Line.
