Relocating to Baltimore MD area and we do not know the good areas from the bad areas to live. Please help !!? -

My family and I are relocating to Baltimore MD and we do not know the good areas from the bad areas to live. I will be working in the Baltimore area but I am C. If there is any other advice you may have regarding the area, it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

Baltimore and good areas are mutually exclusive.Live somewhere farther out.

There are few areas within the city that I would consider nice areas ... perhaps Hamilton, Charles Village, Canton, Butchers Hill. These are some older and recently gentrified areas. Many suburban areas are better. Just look outside of the Beltway (I695), and almost anything you choose will be good. Perhaps if you find some specific places that you have questions about, you can update your question or pose another one.

Stay Out !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Live in one of the surrounding counties

working in the Baltimore area but I am C. Huh? You are what?

47th Annual Candlelight Tour - Christmas at Sam Houston Park Presented by Heritage Society. Dec 11, 6:30pm, Dec 12, 9:30pm. Houston s past comes alive as visitors stroll along paths lit by glowing candlelight and experience a long-standing Houston tradition for holiday gathering. Guests can tour the interiors of Houston s most historic structures, each decorated to portray an era in Houston s history. Visitors will also be able to enjoy historical re-enactments inside the historic structures. Along the way, carolers will lift their voices in joyful song, and the sounds of music will usher in the holiday spirit. Storytellers and crafters will take visitors back in time as they experience how holidays were celebrated in the past. At Santa s Workshop, children can have their photo taken while visiting with St. Nicholas, send Santa a letter to the North Pole, engage in arts and crafts activities, and play in the snow and build snowmen. Santa s Workshop will also include staged performances by various musical and theatrical groups. In addition, The Heritage Society Museum will present Spinning a Yarn: Houston History Through Clothing, an exhibit featuring extravagant costumes and accessories of the past. Tickets are available for $10.00 (adults 19-64), $5.00 (students 13-18), $5.00 (children 6-12), $5.00 (seniors 65+), and children (5 and under) are free. Nothing special, to my knowledge. We ll be in Mass on Christmas Eve. You re welcome to join us.

Whats the cheapest way to get from Boston to Montreal? -

I d like to leave from Boston to Montreal on either January 15th 2010 or the 16th. I m up for transfer trains or flights or whatever but not up for driving. What would be the cheapest way? Plane? Train? Greyhound? Thanks! Oh! I am also travelling with two other people.

I searched on this site and got the Cheapest Flight, check it out,it also had discount coupon codes for expedia,orbitz,travelocity,kayak,pricelihttp://freetravel4ever.blogspot.com

Greyhound has several direct routes that are cheap and fast. From Boston South Station, you can get 4 direct (no transfers) that take about 7.5 hours, and fares 38.50 - $100 depending on when you purchase. Plane costs a fortune. Train would be Amtrak, which leaves from NYC and Albany, for $53 each way from Albany. The trick is getting to NY Penn Station by 8:15 AM or 11:00 AM. Amtrak is not your friend for that portion. Neither is Peter Pan Bus or Greyhound. If you can drive that, take one of the www.busjunction.com buses in the wee hours, or spend the night, then Amtrak is doable.

there are quite a few sites that you can search that will likely give you the best prices available. check out the website BookMe and you will be able to compare prices on all the reputable travel sites in just a couple minutes. it s very convenient and will save you a bunch of time and money. Also, make sure you buy them online... otherwise they charge much higher fees for phone orders. good luck.

There are quite few travel sites where you can search and compare flight prices online. Also be flexible on your dates.

walking is the cheapest way, but it will take a while, bus will probably be the cheapest practical way of getting there

Overnight bus from South Station to Berri-UQAM in Montreal. It s about $55.

The cheapest way would be a tour bus, or a train.

I would say drive. With 3 people gas wouldn t be that expensive. Even if you had a rent a car what a couple hund. bucks depending on how long you were going split 3 ways..

Unfortunately there are no more direct trains. The bus is the way to do it but it it is an 8 hour schlep.

grayhound bus
