Do hotels charge more money for each person that stays in one room? -

I m young, and I ve never been in a hotel before, maybe once. But I need someone to fill me in on the expenses of staying in a hotel. Its for a math project. I mostly need how much a hotel like The New York Time would cost for 5 days for 6 people, and 3 rooms. (I would like the cost per day)

Most room rates are based on double occupancy. There is usually a charge for more than 2 people in each room.

If you are in healthcare there s a virtual shortage here. PT, OT, nurses of all levels are badly needed. Hi-Tech computer people are in high demand. Servers and bartenders are in demand right now. That s a seasonal thing when the snowbirds start arriving from the northern latitudes and they should be here to around March or April.Non-skilled people in eateries are a hit and miss thing. Any company can replace an 18 year old with no experience with another 18 year old with no experience. It also pays very low and these jobs never show up on the websites with other high-end jobs.So the bottom line here to answer your question is it all depends on what your skills and educational level are.

hi, i have a question. I want to make an online reservation for hotel room using my credit card for my parent. But, I am not going with them. Is it possible? cause I am not gonna be there for checkin. In the same case, is it possible if I bid the hotel (from priceline) for my parent? Thanks

You can bid on priceline for your parents. I ve booked flights for me and my son with my Dad s credit card and they didn t ask me any questions. My Dad didn t go with us.If you make the reservation online, if they do have a problem they won t let you reserve a hotel. What they ll probably ask you is the 3 digit code that is on the back of your credit card. I ve also been asked the date of when the credit card account was first opened. What will probably happen is once your parents get to the hotel, they ll ask for a credit card that s in their name if it wasn t paid in full.

Most hotels ask to see the credit card used to make reservations at the time of check in. They may have a problem if the names don t match, but an advanced call to the manager of that particular hotel could resolve that problem.

BART operates from San Bruno to SF. Caltrain operates from both San Mateo and San Bruno to SF. Depending on your final destination, one may be better than the other.

It goes as far south as Millbrae, which is the last stop on Peninsula and the stop following the San Bruno station south bound. My girl friend and I want to take a roadtrip to North Carolina for the thanksgiving day weekend. We are going to go Friday (11/27) to Sunday (11/29). We are from the city (New York). Where should we go? What city? What is there to do? All suggestions are appreciated.

Well, it is way west in the state but the Biltmore Estate is awesome. If you are in the Triangle area (Raleigh, Durham, Chapel Hill) you can check out a sporting event or the planetarium at Chapel Hill. There are also some shows, symphony, etc. I do not know much about the southern part of the state or the coast.

Has anyone went to Bogarts show case club in Cincinnati? -

I am going in a week I was looking at reviews online and they are very mixed. Some love it and others think it sucks. What do you think?

There was a line down to the end of the block this afternoon at 2:15. I don t know who is playing tonight, but those folks were willing to endure boredom and pain to get in.

I have been to Bogart s multiple times and it is consistently my least favorite venue in the city. First of all, it is in a very bad area in Clifton. I definitely would not show up any earlier than you need to to avoid waiting in a line. The club itself lacks the atmosphere of a lot of the cool venues around town (such as Southgate House). It is just a big open space and could use some remodeling. The sound isn t always bad but I ve had my experiences when it was. Also be prepared to deal with the plethora of drunk college kids (UC is in Clifton) and tough-guy bouncers.Alas, good music is good music, so if you definitely want to see the band, go for it. But after being there, I wouldn t go back unless I really had to.

I ve been there a few times. When you walk in it s just a bar then you go down a few steps to a slightly larger area where bands will have their tshirt booths etc. Then you walk down little ramps to a kinda big open rectangular area with a stage at the end. That s really all nothing special and it can get pretty crowded depending on the day and the bands. There s a line outside to wait but I was with a group of people and felt perfectly comfortable being outside. They will check your pockets and purses, so be ready for that, but otherwise it s good enough if you wanna hear some music.

i have been going there for over 20 years. back in the 90 s it was horrible because of the bouncers. but now it s not bad. shows are usually good. as long as you are not rowdy the bouncers really won t bother you. i have been there when the sound was not good only once. if you really like who is playing the venue really does not matter.
