Can anyone please tell me about Grass Valley, CA? -

I m travelling to Sierra Nevada Memorial Hospital in Grass Valley CA, can anyone tell me names of hotels/motels near or around the area? It s my first time to go there, and I would like to stay close to my destination. thank you

Grass Valley is off i50 not i80.The best hotel choices in the area are probably in Folsum about 20 min away from Grass Valley.However, call the hospital and they will probably have a list of hotels that they have relationships with that do discounts.

We live near Chicago and want to take a mini vacation? Where is a good place to go for a day or 2? -

We want to go from Sunday til Tuesday and dont want to spend a lot of money. We have 5 and 8 yr old girls. We just moved out here and dont know where a good place to go? Any good suggestions? It doesnt have to be in IL

I would suggest Key Lime Cove up in Gurnee. It would be a nice winter break and your girls would seem to be the ideal age. You can probably slip in a bit of shopping at Gurnee Mills as well, if that might interest you, as it right on the opposite side of the highway. Does anyone know of any good baking supply shops in Denver? -

I ve been to Michael s, they have a good selection, but not great (no chocolate shavings, cheap tools, bad selection of tools in general). I ve searched online but all I can find is restaurant supply places, not little stores. I want to use buying online as a LAST resort because in person I can check quality, size, and browse around more than online. Obviously I know good brands (Alteco, NOT wilton lol), but I just like looking around :)Any help?

Did you try looking for craft stores? Cause, you know...Michael s is a craft store, but, as you have noticed, very corporate, and they have the brands that their company buys for them....but a smaller such shop might have access to other things, things they could order specially for you, stuff like that. I guess Walmart wouldn t make you any happier...pretty much the same stuff as Michael s, but less of it...our little tiny Walmart has a few things, but a super store might have a better selection.
