Will I have time to eat at the varsity on my layover? -

I m having a three and a half hour layover in Atlanta, will that be enough time to go to the nearest varsity and eat?

If you like living on the edge (so to speak) there s a good chance you could do it. Me, personally, I d stay in the terminal. Why go through the check-in process -- which could be long and tedious -- if you don t really have to...... It would be a shame to miss your flight!I should add that I m not a big fan of the Varsity. Now Nathan s in Coney Island -- that s a different story!( :

Probably not. ATL is a big airport. It will take you a lot of time to get to the MARTA terminal, take the 20 minute train ride to North Ave. walk 2 blocks to the Varsity, order, eat and then get back on the train to get back to the airport and get to your gate so you don t miss your flight. If you don t have to deal with luggage you may be able to make it but I would hate to be late and have to use a chili dog as my excuse for missing my flight.

It would depend to on what time of the day, and the day you are landing at the airport. If you land during rush time forget it. On the weekends or during the day, I would think you would have time. If you have to deal with luggage rent a locker to put luggage into until you get back. About 12 or 13 miles and 20 minutes in a cab. You could check with the bus line at the airport. 3 1/2 hours is a fairly long time when you are looking at less than a hour riding in a cab, not during rush hour!!!

Do oriental people come out of the manholes in new york offering dvds? -

My friend told me that they did and I overheard somebody talking about it.

I know it s hard to vision a city s culture when you haven t visited before, but this is one of the buisiest cities in the world, do you think that people of any origin could come out of manholes???? come on!!!We went for a week in May from Scotland and found it to be the most amazing place we ve ever been to in the world. Yes there are people who are on corners selling you cheap bags, scarves, etc, but I didn t see anyone selling DVD s in midtown. Only once did a guy ask us to buy his CD of his band whilst we were walking down the street, but as soon as my husband said No thanks, he went away and asked someone else. I know you hear some scary stories about large cities having high crime or scary things like people jumping out man holes, but it really is a safe city. There is an area in New York called China town, this is where you would find cheap DVD s if that s what your looking for, but if your question was driven by fear of these people, then be careful in this area, although we were very safe and everyone was only interested in selling things, you do get a sense of insecurity whilst there.Hope this has helped.

For free? Wow...I need to visit America.

How do i get from oakland to paso robles? -

i would do amtrak. take capitol corridor train from the oakland coliseum to sj and the coast starlight from SJ to Paso. this takes about 4.5 hours and costs is $36 one way.

Which is the best and cheaper way from uptown to Laguardia? -

once I took a cab that went through a bridge in an industrial area and made all the way in 15 minutes,of course it cost me a very very good tip, but I don t remember the name of the bridge.

Uptown as in the 60 s or uptown as in Harlem which is 125th St ?If it was the 60 actually Midtown - then it was Grand Central Parkway 31st St over the 59th Street /Queensboro Bridge =very urban and industrial If it was 125th/Harlem then it was GCP over the Triboro Bridge w/Hell Gate Bridge sitting on your right as you go northThe cheaper way to do that is to stop in any Hudson Newsstand in LGA and get a $4.50 MetroCard Take the M-60 Bus one stop out of LGA to:The Astoria Blvd/31St Stop ,go upstairs transfer for free and take the N/W train into Midtown-Downtownor Stay on the Bus as it crosses Manhattan on 125th St Note :NYC buses do not accept bills as a form of payment ;exact CHANGE or MetroCards onlyEnjoy NYC

What is life like in Fairbanks Alaska? -

Im used to life in the city! I love to go shopping and I love the life in the city. I love to be around people and especially people who I can relate to. But Im going to move to Fairbanks in about a year when I finish school and I want to know what life is like there.. Will I be bored and hate it?

It is not a city, and you may need to get your shopping fix online. We have stores that carry everything you might need, but no malls. there is an Old Navy, Petco, Wal Mart, Barnes and Nobel, and Chili s; but that about covers the big national chains.University of Alaska Fairbanks has it main campus there so there is large college student population. Not sure what kinda people you relate too, so I am not sure what to tell you. We do not have a huge population here, but there is diversity or culture, political views and interests. Here are some sites that can give you an idea about Fairbanks:http://www.fairbankschamber.org/http://www.uaf.edu/uaf/campuses/fairbankhttp://www.fairbanksakusa.com/moving-to-http://www.cometofairbanks.com/
