I agree with the person below. If you want to transfer before your junior year in college- go for it. BUT- once you get a semester under your belt, dont forget that the sat and high school grades no longer matter to the transfer school- only your new college gpa. But if your talking about transfering after you get your bachelors to go for your masters- thats NOT transferring. Thats just applying again- grad school is way different then getting a bachelors. The score for your gre is what counts then along with undergrad gpa.
You should be able to get into UT Austin if you have great grades in the current classes you have and have a minimum of I think 16 college hours.
