How do i get to central park nyc by public transportation from jamaica queens? -

Since you live in Jamaica, that means you have the option of taking the E or F train. If you take the E, you can take the E train straight and get off at 5th Avenue. From there, walk six short blocks uptown and you ll be at Central Park.If you take the F, get off the F at the 57th st. station. From there, walk north two blocks on 6th Avenue and you ll be at Central Park.

Take the Manhattan-bound (westbound) E train (Blue Line on the subway map) from Jamaica Central to Queens Plaza.Once at Queens Plaza, transfer across the platform to the R train (Yellow Line). Take the Manhattan-bound (westbound) R train from Queens Plaza to 5th Avenue and 59th Street, which is the southern end of the park.I hope this information is very helpful.Good luckNative New Yorker

I want to work in the USA on a travel working visia how do i do it and what type of visa do i need? -

Im from Australia and i have a qualification in working in a bar and have an engineering qualification

You need a sponsor (employer) for a work visa - you can t apply for one on your own.http://travel.state.gov/visa/visa_1750.hAustralians do have an advantage and can get an E-3 Work Visa (the immigration support website is a commercial site):http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/E-3_visahttp://www.usimmigrationsupport.org/visahttp://www.abc.net.au/pm/content/2005/s1Check with US companies in Australia and Australian companies with offices in the USA. For example, Hilton and Marriott hire international staff as interns.Australians and New Zealanders also qualify for:http://newzealand.usembassy.gov/swt_faq. Australian citizens can visit the USA for up to 90 days as a tourist, so you could travel for interviews tests if necessary:https://esta.cbp.dhs.gov/http://travel.state.gov/visa/temp/withouhttp://www.cbp.gov/xp/cgov/travel/id_visSearch international exchange programs USA and there should be many links to programs that offer temporary and seasonal work in the US. An example is www.ccusa.comDo carefully check any programs you might be interested in as not all of them are a good deal.Another option is to go to school in the USA. Australian citizens can easily get a US student visa and you MAY be able to work on-campus. Having a USA university diploma or certificate will make applying for jobs easier, and going to school in the US will help you decide if you really want to move here:www.collegesintheusa.comIf you decide to go to university in the USA the first step is to identify several schools you might want to attend and make contact with their offices of international students For example:http://global.tulane.edu/oiss/www.oiss.uno.eduGood luck!

Stay your a.s.s in Australia. We don t have enough jobs here in the US as is. All the foreigners are taking all the jobs with their low wage demands

What are the streets of Rosedale Park,Indian village and New Center area, Detroit? -

Rosedale Park, on the west side of Detroit, is roughly bounded by Fenkell, Outer Drive, Grand River Avenue, Southfield Freeway, Glastonbury Street, Lyndon Street, and Westwood DriveIndian Villiage, on the east side, comprises Burns, Iroquois, and Seminole Streets, stretching from Mack Avenue to East Jefferson Avenue.New Center is approximately three miles (5 km) north of the city s downtown, and one mile (1.6 km) north of the Cultural Center. The area is centered just west of the intersection of Woodward Avenue and Grand Boulevard, and is approximately bounded by Virginia Park Historic District on the north, the Ford Freeway on the south, John R. on the east and the Lodge Freeway on the west.

What? You want someone to name all these streets? I hope your joking. If not why would you want someone to do all this compilation work for you for nothing?

Which watches are better, Cassio or Citizen for men? -

Sorry, it is not travel question, but I did not get much help on accessories board, so since I live here, I ask for help in this particular section. Now to my question. I want to give my father watches, somewhere around $100, I have many options but no experience which brand is better. Basically I only heard of Cassio and Citizen, any other brands? Which is better, more reliable? I already have some sites, I just need opinions.Thank you.

Casio is great if you like the G-Shock line. You can even get an Atomic Watch that is solar powered. The time is automatically set by radio (WWV) by the Government atomic clock in Boulder Co.For dress watches, I d go with Citizen though. Otherwise, Casio is great.Seiko is good but there aren t too many for $100. Pulsar is a good value and has many watches for under $100.http://shopping.yahoo.com/p:Pulsar%20PF3

I d go with a Seiko. They are great watches... probably a little more expencive but worth it, and I think you can find something for $100 or so. I bought one for $175 several years ago and it still running strong and in great condition. I had a Casio and it only lasted about 2 years.
