Is it dangerous to take greyhound bus from okc to dallas? -

this is my 1st to take greyhound bus, and i know none of this. i dont know how the people there and in the bus. i watch some movie and i saw that s dangerous, and im scared right now, but i dont have much money. pls, tell me if anyone have taken that trip from okc to dallas, is it same in movie?, and how it was so i can prepare for that. thanks

sometimes it can be dangerous. stay around a lot of people and close to security people while at bus stations.esp if you are a young boy as you sound like. perverts often hang around the stations and try to get young boys away.several years ago I stopped perverts from trying to mollest three different boys and in one case the creep wouldnt leave the kid alone so I got off and escorted him safely to meet up with his dad had to catch a later bus.play cool and stay alert and be very careful who you talk to and if you take my advice you probably will be ok.call it street smarts.be especially alert in Dallas.it is one of the most dangerous. There is a micky D s near by where it is safer many locals are there at a dart bus waiting spot and most will help you and telephones are there to call who is to get you.if alone no one to get you E-mail me and I will try to get someone to get you to safety.I live there,a christian landlord who will make sure you will be safe.If so,let me know as far in advance as you can what you will need when you arrive so I can make phone contacts for you.Hope God gives you peace and safety.let me know that you made it ok if you dont contact me ahead of arrival.

Stay alert. Carefully select who you sit next to. Have your money in a safe place in case you fall asleep on the bus. Stay with the other people. If the bus stops for a rest stop and most get off the bus, then you get off too. If most stay on the bus, then you stay on too. If you buy something at a rest stop carefully get your money out so others don t see how much you have. There s no need to be afraid as long as you are cautious. Have a good trip.

Can i write a visa invitation letter to my mother to visit me in US as I am on J1 visa? -

I am currently on J1 visa , residing in baltimore. I wanna invite my mother to visit me for one month. she is a iranian resident . Will the US embassy accept if i send a invitation letter to her to get US Visa or Do i need to be a permanent resident/citizenship of US to do so??

You can write it stating that she can stay with you during her visit. However, those letters do not help much and are often totally ignored. She needs to apply for a B-2 tourist visa and must show that she has compelling reasons to return to her home...that is what the visa officer really wants to see. Since there is no U.S embassy in Iran , she will have to go through the embassy in Jordan or Syria.

Go on USCIS.gov website and see what they have to say about it. They also have a hotline where they can answer any of yoru questions. All the best!
