Is Walt Disney Worlds Magic Kingdom busier on days that hold the Mickeys Very Merry Christmas Party? -

Not necessarily, at least early on. The closer it gets to Christmas, the busier all the parks get, and Magic Kingdom is always busiest. If you can go the first couple weeks of December, then the crowd difference on Party days is not even worth worrying about.

Yes, much busier but it is well worth the trip. My wife and I went there last year for Christmas and it was wonderful. Here are some links to Christmas at Disney.

Yes it is much busier but it is well worth it.

Is plano illinois haunted? -

is plano il a place a long time ago where they would hang people amd kill people.

No. There is no place on earth that is haunted.

What to see in or near San Antonio in this December? this is my first time.? -

i ve lived in Houston tx for a year, but never visited San Antonio. is there something fun to visit in this december? thanks a lot!

You must visit the Alamo. Go to the Tower of the Americas for lunch on a clear day. It revolves 360 degrees an hour and it is a great view of the area. Go to the Old Missions and to the Governors Palace. Go to the Riverwalk and take a boat ride. Walk the Riverwalk and stop in a bar or cafe. The trolley ride is a hoot.Nightlife on the Riverwalk.

I went to San Antonio with my family right after Christmas two years ago and we had a blast! The Riverwalk is sooo pretty! If you can get a ride on one of the tour boats you should, they point out all the interesting places to go. There is a huge mall at the end of the Riverwalk with lots of good stores. Hope you have fun! Good luck :)

Will they let me carry on frozen lobster tails, wrapped in newspaper. in a carry on suitcase? -

Doubtful.

Im going to DisneyWorld coming up in a few weeks, what should i do first and later on? -

well to assist you it would help if i knew...-how long are you staying-where are you staying-do you have tickets already? if so how many days are on your ticket and did you get any of the add on options such as park hopper, water parks fun and more, and no expiration date....-are you planning on going to any of the other area attractions such as universal studios, universal islands of adventure, seaworld, busch gardens.....i ll come back and edit if i see you have more info.**edit**ok. well i m still not sure of if you have your tickets yet and what type they are but i would suggest that you get a 4 day base ticket. this will allow you to visit each of the 4 main disney world theme parks once. and if you are only going to one of the universal parks i would suggest univeral studios. (instead of univeral islands of adventure)and i would take the other 2 days to relax . you can hang out at your hotel and swim and then maybe take the bus to downtown disney and wander around there for a while. you are on your feet ALL DAY LONG so you really should take a couple of breaks between parks.

I always go to Magic Kingdom first because it s my favorite, and I always go back again another day. But it really doesn t matter what order you go in. Since you are there for 7 days, I would go to each park one day, then pick which ones you want to go back to. If you would rather go to Universal, then you can do that instead. Be sure you take one day off and just lay around and rest. Your vacation will go a lot better. You might want to read up on the attractions at http://www.allearsnet.com

Where do I park for the New Years event in New York Times Square? -

A friend and I are going to New York Times Square for New Years. I just don t know where would I park? Is there a good place to park that doesn t have to be very stressful to get to?

Don t even thing of bring your car into the city, because many major street will be closed. I strongly suggest parking your car outside of the city and take public transit into the city.If you coming from upstate or the northern suburbs, you can park your car at one of the many Metro-North parking and ride facilities in Westchester and Putnam Counties.Harlem Line------------------White PlainsHudson Line------------------PoughkeepsieCroton HarmonIf you re coming from New England, you can park at one of the Metro-North parking and ride facilities along the New Haven Line.New Haven-Union StationBridgeportStamfordRye (free parking on weekends and holidays)Larchmont (free parking on weekends and holidays)New RochelleMount Vernon EastFrom any of these station, you can take Metro-North to Grand Central and then take the subway to Times Square. If you coming from points south and west, may I recommend parking in Jersey City or Hoboken, NJ and take the PATH train into the city. The fare on the PATH train is $1.75 each way, per person. The link below show the location of parking in both cities near PATH train stations.Grove Street Stationhttp://maps.google.com/maps?near=Grove+SExchange Place Stationhttp://maps.google.com/maps?near=ExchangPavonia/Newport Stationhttp://maps.google.com/maps?near=PavoniaHoboken Stationhttp://maps.google.com/maps?near=HobokenJournal SquareParking is available at the Journal Square Transportation Center on two decks through a privately owned parking facility, LAZ Parking. For additional information, please call (201) 216-6744.In addition, you can also park at the Metropark train station in Iselin and take NJ Transit s Northeast Corridor Line from there to the City. The trip from Metropark to the city will take about 45 minutes and the fare is $8 each way, per person ($16 round trip, per person). The price to park at Metropark ranges from $5 for 16 hours, to $9 for 24 hours. You can also park your car the Secaucus Junction train station in Secaucus and take NJ Transit s Northeast Corridor, North Jersey Coast, or the Morris Essex Lines from there to the City. leave it in Queens, Brooklyn or NJ, depending on which way your coming from, and take the train. Honesty, you shouldn t go. It s ten to twelve hours in the cold (if you want a good view) with no access to bathrooms or food. We locals don t go, the majority of New Yorkers at that thing are the NYPD.

If I were, don;t even think about drive it into NYC. Especially NYC, you gotta be crazy.. drive it in BROOKlyn and then take the metro.

It s going to be very very very crowded! Make sure ur there by the morning, and if u get up u will loose ur seat. Good luck!

Does Hawaii have different time zones? -

I was wondering if all the islands and parts of hawaii observe the same time zones

Yes, the whole island is located in one time zone which is Hawaii-Aleutian Standard Time Zone (HST)see the US time zones here:http://www.happyzebra.com/timezones-worl

The islands are too close together for them to have different time zone. Instead Hawaii has it own time zone: The Hawaii-Aleutian Time Zone observes Hawaii-Aleutian Standard Time (HAST), by subtracting ten hours from Coordinated Universal Time (UTC-10). The clock time in this zone is based on the mean solar time of the 150th meridian west of the Greenwich Observatory. The zone takes its name from the two areas it includes: Hawaii and the portion of Alaska s Aleutian Islands west of 169 30 W longitude. The Alaskan portion observes DST while Hawaii does not.Hawaii used a standard time of GMT-10:30 from 1900 until 1947, when clocks were changed to the present -10:00 zone. [1]

Island Timezone, on the pacific, If I know what you mean, Hawaii has all the sam time zone, yet if you travl to the Atalantic it s alldiffernt as well as other parts f the world

I think you re thinking of ڧ (Russia). The biggest country on the Earth with eleven time zones.

All the islands are in the same time zone.

Yeah, they re the same

Would Like To Find Out Abit About It? -

Im 18 Years Old And I Would Love To Work Abroad In A Zoo Working With Animals..SomeWhere Like America.. I Haven t Been To Uni.. Could SomeOne Tell Me If That Is Possible Please?

Some companies offer work and travel programs for university students. Here are a couple of sites that you can view for more information about these types of programs:CIEE.orgGeovisions.orgMany zoos here are very small and probably won t sponsor a visa for your working in the U.S. But, you can always hope!! From experience, it s difficult to find positions in zoos working WITH animals because those positions are usually very highly sought after and are difficult to get withouth prior experience or without a university degree. The best thing to do is lookup the zoo that you d like to apply for a position and contact them directly to see if they sponsor visas or do any sort of work exchange program of some sort.Good luck!!

Are there any cooking classes in Las Vegas for people my age? -

I m fifteen years old and I ve been thinking that I want to own a bakery when I am older and I want to know how to bake and decorate cakes and stuff like that guy on Cake Boss. I m moving to Vegas next summer and I m going to be 16 by then, does anyone know if there are any classes for people like me.

Talk to your guidance counselor and see if you can get into a Vo Tech High School. There will be many opportuniteis for you at that high school.

Have your parents check out (Culinary schools) 16? You might have to wait 2 years. They can be expensive...I have a daughter your age, Believe me there is a good chance you may change your mind what you want to do when you graduate High school. This way your parent s money is not wasted! Then if you still want to be a chef? Then go for it! Good luck! Meanwhile you could check out UNLV For a culinary course.

Thats cool. I used to be a baker making wedding and birthday cakes.. If your going to vegas check out this school at http://www.creativecookingschool.com/def or the http://www.chefs.edu/las-vegas/ site. I think creative is a bit better.. You can call and ask for a brochure. Good Luck!

Stop wasting your time . . . go to black jack school and become a dealer @ the Hard Rock.

Through the Clark County School District there is a vocational school that involves cooking and baking, but you have to have a B average!

Cooking classes in Vegas? Why not take a stripping class instead? There are plenty of those and in the long run, might even help you get into a prestigious culinary school.
