Vegas is the Mojave Desert so snow is rare and when it happens about every eight years does not last. Our winter weather is cold (50) when the north winds blow but you spend the majority of your time in the casino/hotel. Dress is casual especially in the sports book. Business casual for some restaurants and dressy for clubbing. Most people wear jeans and a nice top, but having a sweater or jacket helps if you get chilly inside the casino.

Currently in California and contemplating on moving to Colorado. Good or bad idea? -

My husband and I currently live with his parents, in a very luxurious home here in California. However, just like in any other case where you are under someone else s roof there are stipulations. His parents have a house in Colorado. They have offered to rent it out to us, we will be splitting the cost with my sister in law who will be attending school there. My ultimate issue is leaving my job of 5 years. I really don t like the company and have been looking to move, but with my husband currently depending on unemployment, and knowing that I may be temporarily unemployed on Colorado, I ve become a little hesitant. On a lighter note, I see it as a new beginning for our family of 3 and to finaly be on our own . I will cashing in on my vacation, and this will be Jan of 2010 so our taxes will come shortly. Is this a good or bad move?

Beaches in Dallas, Tx? If so are they warm in January? -

So, we want a beach vacation. Going in January. Thought about going to Dallas so we could visit TD Jakes church, The Potter s house. Are there beaches nearby that you can actually swim at? and if so what are some of the beachfront hotels that are not luxury...I m talking about like a Best Western or something..

Dallas is about 250 miles from the Gulf of Mexico so it would not be a short drive for you.There is a lake near the Potter s house, but no beach, and it is too cold to get in the water this time of year. There are several decent motels not too far from the church.

Dallas is not on the coast!There are some lakes near Dallas, but too cold to swim (on the average) in January.The nearest real beach is Galveston, which is roughly 290 miles from Dallas.The weather in Galveston is quite variable in January, but on the average fairly cool and cloudy. Not freezing, but not great beach weather.

There are no beaches in Dallas. Dallas is in north Texas, not on the Gulf of Mexico. There are some lakes in the area with swimming areas, but it s much too cold to swim here in January.

It s more than likely a Sheriffs card. A lot of Vegas jobs require them. Particularly jobs that serve alcohol, casino jobs, and childcare. More than that require them though. They do a police background checks on you.

Myrtle Beach average temperature in day time in March is 68 F and average ocean temperature is 56 F. Humidity is really bad in summer time, but in spring you not gonna feel that much, should be fine. Average at least 4 days a week it s sunny. Also in spring time a lot of windy days. Myrtle Beach starts to be a little bit busy in March and the busiest time in spring is one week before Easter and one week after Easter, so if you planning to come around Easter you should book a hotel earlier, but even if you don t it so many hotels and motels here I believe you will be able to find something. Usually a big crowd for spring break with a few parties going on either on or close to the beach and reserve your rooms now, because Myrtle Beach is a big spring break town, most of the east coast colleges from UV to Duke plan a trip there for spring break.
