I placed a bid on a item on eBay thats from Accrington, U.K. How long would it take to get 2 southern AZ USA? -

I ordered a Bionicle but the item is in the U.K. The seller is using 1st class Royal Airmail to ship the item. How long would it take 2 get to Southern Arizona?

Hi,I work for Royal Mail at their international distribution centre, funnily enough on the packet sorting machine. In an ideal world you could recieve youritem next day, though this is unlikely. You need to allow 2 days to leave the country, half a day to fly, and probably 2 days once it reaches the states. This is providing you are posting airmail. If you are posting surface, you are looking at weeks I m afraid.Hope this helps!K.

HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO GET FROM TRACY CALIFORNIA TO MARINA DEL RAY CALIFORNIA????????????? -

Fun Stuff to do on a Road Trip? HELP!? -

Ok, so tomorrow me and my family are going on a 15 hour road trip. I am 12, and I have two younger siblings (sister: 8, brother: 4). I desperately need things to do. I do not have an Ipod, I m bringing books, I have a cell phone, and no portable dvd player. Need ideas!

I hope you guys don t plan on driving it all in one day... but other than iPod or other electronic entertainment, books and conversation is about all you re going to have unless you get some of those travel games at a gas station or Wal-Mart/Target.

Is woodridge illinois considered a city? -

is it a city? or does it qualify as a town, village, township etc.?

woodridge, illinois. i love woodridge. it s considered a township. but it most indrustrial area. lot of big companies there. (;-)

Woodridge, Illinois is a suburban city of Chicago, located primarily in DuPage County, with portions in Will County and Cook County, Illinois in the United States. A special census commissioned in 2003 put the population at 33,253. Woodridge was incorporated on August 24, 1959 with less than 500 residents, on a wooded area of high ground overlooking the DuPage River s East Branch. Woodridge was founded by a housing developer, Albert Kaufman, who was largely responsible for the creation of the village.

Is California the most overrated state in the USA? -

I was in Tustin, California but traveled in both LA and Orange County, well I was disappointed. I saw nothing special in California, all I saw was vandalism and huge massive extensive urban areas and dirty beaches, most of the people looked like Mexicans, in fact I thought I was in Mexico, expect Mexico is cleaner, I have been to Cancun much better than California. I was so excited for this beautiful paradise on earth with golden beaches, vineyards, orange groves, beautiful natural scenery and beautiful people, I got none of it, has California always been like this or has your state went down hill bad, I didn t want to ask my cousins because I didn t want to insult their home, but now Im on the net I have to ask, sorry if I seem rude but I was disappointed :(

Wow, that does seem pretty rude. Glad you insulted us instead of the cousins. I guess.Sorry to say that SoCal is over-hyped. That s not my fault. I m in here every day, trying to give people a dose of reality. I can t help it if people want to believe that everything on TV is real. Well, guess what: All those MTV reality shows? Fake. Scripted. Manipulated. And guess what else? Those people stuck on Gilligan s Island weren t really stuck. They were actors. So if you choose to believe all the crap on TV, then come out here thinking it s all paradise, then whose fault is that?BTW, you d be hard pressed to find an orange grove anywhere in Orange County. Where did you see that, anyway? And yes, LA is this HUGE urban area. We can never seem to get people to understand that.BTW, if you ve just been to Cancun, pretty boy, you haven t been to Mexico, really. Try driving over the border from San Diego, and drive 100 miles or so to Ensenada. Then say that Mexico s cleaner than LA. You have no idea...So adjust your perceptions, stop believing that everything on TV is real, and try and leave your predjudice at home.

First of all I think your comment about Mexicans is offensive to Californians no matter the race or nationality. And if you have really been to Mexico your comments would be just the opposite. Cancun is just another tourist trap just like any other. Mexico is a country of contrasts - it is both a land of beauty from the perspective of its natural wonders and also a land of ugliness from the perspective of its urban blight. California is the same. It has beauty beyond description that captivates and it has the kind of ugly that would make heads turn. In the middle there is a lot of the bland like you might find in Tustin - which is a simple middle-class American city that a mix of homes and malls you might find anywhere else in the United States.Depending upon where you re from you might find it over-rated and certainly you are entitled to your opinion. I think most people who live here find the place to be a pretty good place to live.

First of all, you landed in Tustin, might as well have been in Texas.Second of all, what kind of world do you live in that you thought all of California is golden beaches, vineyards, orange groves, beautiful natural scenery and beautiful people . Welcome to reality you deush! And please don t compare any American city to a Mexican resort town. Actually, don t even compare Mexico to a Mexican resort town.Next time you want to come to California just stay at home in your little fantasy world, where you ll be jogging by Justin Timberlake on the beach, drinking a glass of wine and white people are picking the oranges off of trees for you to snack on.Good night!

What you expected was the California as it is portrayed on television programs, most of which is fake and glamorized for T.V.What you actually saw was a large over crowded, metropolitan area. What you saw was what happens when politicians spend more tax dollars on stupid government social programs based solely on keeping them in office than on building and improving the infrastructure. This draws more and more of my brown skinned cousins from Mexico and Central America to flock here to have their anchor babies and grab their piece of the welfare pie. And there goes the neighborhood.

Depends where you go. California isn t one big paradise, it has normal people and normal cities like every other part of the country. But there are beaches and vineyards and scenery, if you go find them.

California is a sh*t hole, Florida is a sh*t hole to be.The scum of the third world love to flock to the hot states (Cali, Flo, Ariz and Tex) we need deportation now!

There s nothing wrong with California that could not be fixed with a 10-megaton nuclear burst over Sacramento.

Sorry you had a bad experience. Southern California has a lot to offer. However I think you expected a bit too much in day to day life in SoCal. In day to day life you dont see the glamor as shown in movies unless you work in specific industries (big malls, movie studios, or close to beaches). Yes the downtown LA area is horrible... But try visiting say Newport Beach, or Balboa, or Crystal Cove, Griffith park, Disney Land, Universal Studios, Big Bear, near by Desert areas (if you like hot weather), Santa Monica, Temecula for Vineyards, visit places like Hollywood and Highland for the celebrity style shopping areas and clubs, Rodeo Drive for some history etc. If you go towards San Diego, visit the Gaslamp district, Sea World etc. There are thousands of clubs in Socal that you can go to -- and you dont have to be in your early 20s... Everyone can go to most clubs. The food is also awesome - ofcourse if you go to Denny s it wont be any different than other parts of the country. Go to places like the Irvine Spectrum or South Coast plaza... visit some high end restaurants - Orange Hills Restaurant is my personal favorite and not far from Tustin... I have been living in Anaheim for last 10 years and there is always something to do... I hope your next visit is better.

You expected way too much out of California which is why you were so disappointed. I have lived in California since birth and now it s 2009 and I still love California more than anything.Psh! What did you expect!? You were in Tustin! No. You are not in Mexico. Come to Tijuana and then we ll talk! I was so excited for this beautiful paradise on earth with golden beaches, vineyards, orange groves, beautiful natural scenery and beautiful people, I got none of it. Wow. You re disappointed because you were watching Baywatch and assumed that California was just like that! Well I m glad you realized that television lies to you!GOLDEN BEACHES!?!? What TV show were you watching!?Well at least your cousin won t be shoveling snow and your cousin can wear a shirt and flip flops and have a wonderful backyard barbecue IN DECEMBER! Can your state do that? Didn t think so!

You sound like so many people who come here with unrealistic expectations of streets paved in gold and nothing but beautiful people. As for whether California is overrated, here s a little perspective for you:If the state of California was a country, we would have the 5th biggest economy of every other COUNTRY in the world. People come here from all over the world to see (in LA specifically, not to leave out Northern CA) Rodeo Drive, Malibu, the Hollywood Walk of Fame, Disneyland, Universal Studios, Graumann s Chinese Theater, the Hollywood Sign, the Kodak Theater, the Getty Museum(s), the Disney Concert Hall, Santa Monica and about 500 other things we have to offer. Overrated? Not really ... no.I can t help but wonder what parts of LA and Orange County you saw. It sounds like you drove Interstate 5 from one place to the other and never once got out of your car, except at the dirty beach. If you want beautiful people, go to Malibu and Beverly Hills. If you want golden beaches, go to Laguna or Newport. If you don t like Mexicans, then don t go to a place that used to BE Mexico and is still within a 90 minute drive to Mexico.Truth be told ... Tustin ain t exactly the Garden Spot of Southern California.

Im 21 yr old, black, professional female moving to Atlanta. What area should I move to near people like me? -

I want to live around young professional men women, maybe just out of college? I want to be around more black ppl than white ppl but diverse. I don t want to be in the hood and I want to be intown. Help me please!!!

If you want to be around college-educated, black professionals you ll want to look in Buckhead, Grant Park, Castleberry Hill, and East Atlanta Village. If you like to go out and party, you ll like Buckhead. Starting a family?..GP is for you. Artistic/creative type, try Castleberry Hill or West Midtown. Hipster/hooligan, you ll want to see East Atlanta Village.

I agree with McCoy - Parts of Decatur are nice, I d also suggest near Atlantic Station, Buckhead in Midtown. Stay away from Hapeville, College Park and East Point, because they are all rough areas.

Try Buchead atlanta But its expensive OR try Dekalb county like Tucker or Chamblee area ,there r good and cheap places,Good luck!!!!

you should try checking Buckhead, based on an article I have read Buckhead is considered the center of the nightlife in Atlanta.

Midtown Atlanta, Buckhead or near Atlantic Station. Decatur is also very nice.
