I live in San Diego, CA and i am very interested in visiting Washington State (not DC) to check out colleges and just living there in general. Everyone keeps mentioning the rain, and i am very aware of that, but I d like to know more about things to do for an 18 year old there and what the cost of living is. Maybe things to visit or certain cities or towns to see. I h ave never been but i am very interested. Please help me with anything, preferably people who live there, not people who just google information.thank you :]
What the first person said. is a total LIE.Not everyones like that. And personally i hate purple. And im from washington.Seattle is beautiful in my opnion it has alot of different people and alot of entertainment. :).Some of the oyu meet on the street are great :D.I live in federal way, its not to bad, washington just like any other state. its filled with different people with different cultures..
To answer your Q...It s a big state with alot to offer, you will never get bored.Unless you re not social or outgoing kinda person.I like to say everything you can think of, is basically here. And that says alot.So research and find specifically what your interests are,to better accommodate your needs. Also, It s more laid back and not as modern. You wont see people talking on cell fones that much, and wearing the latest trends. It s the opposite, unfortunately for them. They wear alot of bright colors, like purple.I understand its the color of the University but really... does everyone have to wear purple? The person that left the comment B4..first of all, all the places shes lived are what I consider the hood,Those are horrible places to live.Seattle itself is not upscale as most would assume.it s the inner city.I live on the Eastside , across the water from Seattle
