Whats a nice place to sit at early in the morning in Austin, TX? -

I like to sit out near Town Lake early in the morning (around 7:30a). It s free and I can take some time drawing, reading, or just quietly sitting and taking in the city. However, as it begins to get colder and rainier, I find it harder to concentrate on just relaxing. Is there any other free public space in town where a person could go that might be more dry or warm. Inside or outside is fine. Thanks.

I love Town Lake also........great place to take your dogs and enjoy everything. Why don t you go to the Capitoll and look at all the beautiful history there? When it is raining, you need to be inside I guess..................

forgive me if I steer you wrong, but when I lived in Austin a year ago I often went to Book People on West 6th (near Lamar) and would sit at the cafe there and read. It was a nice atmosphere and they had coffee and baked items. There are also places to sit inside Whole Foods across the street, but it would be up to you to determine if that store is too crowded or noisy. It can be an interesting place to watch people if it is not too busy.

This is for people in Temecula, Ca or near there...? -

My husband and I don t have a whole lot of money. We don t like to just sit around the house all the time and just watch movies and stare at eachother. I like to go out and do things, I have always been that way. Thing is we can t be spending money all the time just to amuse ourselves. Does anyone that lives in my area know of things that we can do to spend little or no money and still get out of the house and have some fun??

If you wanted something to do, why did you move to Temecula? It s a nice suburban area (with wineries and the Pechanga casino nearby), but not much else to do. And once you get outside the residential areas, you re basically in rural country, with farms nearby. That s why you moved there, right? For the peace and quiet. Most people I know who live out in that area like it that way. They re not big fans of the nightlife This time of year, it s fun to do some research and find out who has cool holiday light displays, then go visit them.I know some people who do like we do. They have Disney Annual passes, and regularly drive to Anaheim (about 70 miles) and visit Disneyland, and Downtown Disney.A cost-effective place to entertain yourself has always been the movie theater. If you get your tickets at Costco, you can get them for about $7.50 each, which is cheaper than most matinee prices. If you bring your own snacks, it s not too expensive at all. Other than that, you ll need to develop an outdoor hobby like hiking, jogging, or bicycling.

Are there any free tutor in rhode island or really cheap? -

its for a high school student with government assistance and ideas

There are free tutor pamphlets hanging around the Burrillville library. Dunno if they are still there. But it had an asian girl on the front and a black kid on the back, and they were smiling.

Go to your local Craigslist site and post an ad for a tutor. Either offer a few bucks an hour or offer some sort of barter/trade for their service. For example:Math tutor needed for 15 year old in advanced geometry. Can pay $7.00 hr. Or will barter by washing your laundry 2x per week.Try it. Many people do this. In my area a dentist is offering to extract your wisdom teeth in exchange for carpentry services at his house. There s all sorts of creative ideas available.

Your library may have a free tutor program... check it out and if not ask them if they know any...
