o my gosh! it s bueatiful! it s amazing! It depends where in MN you go. but yes there are many many many lakes! we have over 22000 not 10000 land of lakes, but yes it is over 22000! it s bueatiful, and very snowy! it s really pretty in the first snow fall there is! and in the fall because Duluth, on Lake Suprior, is a very popular destination place for the fall trees! it is accually one of the most popular places!! Minnesota is a very nice place, Usually right when the snow melts in mid March to mid April, the grass gets green almost emeditally, and stays that way! we usually have bright sunny days! yes even up here the sun still shines (: and we have amazing sunrises and sunsets over the lakes, it s an amazing feeling to have a bonfire on a lake with your friends and family and watch the sun set! I love it here! and no we don t have those heavy fargo accents like everybody thinks, only some of the elderly do, thats really more of a canadian accent, and fargo s not even in minnesota! its in ND! but i hope this helps and you decide to vist us! All the way up north
Its a refreshing state. Part of it is on the Great Lake Superior. It has a lot of forests, and lakes. Its called the Land of 10,000 Lakes. Its cold there, and their winter covers a long period of months. Minneapolis is just like any other big city.http://images.search.yahoo.com/search/im
A very pretty state. Just like the first poster said. But it does get cold there in winter. I have a friend in Forest lake.Go to www.webshots.com. It is a photo posting site and you can search and find almost anything in pictures (except for porn) Search for Minnesota and see what comes up. You can also download photos from there if you become a member.
One huge snowdrift. They have Winter and the 4th of July, I think. I have to admit I was there in April. Hot in Texas , where I left from, landed in the middle of a blizzard. Decided I am a Southern boy at that point.
The northern part is mainly pine forests and the southern part has a lot of farm land. The state has over 10,000 lakes too, which makes for pretty scenery. =)
