If its in both, which one does everyone talk about, or which one is more popular? Also is what is the best within 100 miles spot of me, spring break location spot? Also can a 17 yr old get a hotel/motel room?
Venice Beach is in California. There is a Venice in Florida that s along the gulf coast, just south of St. Petersburg. But, the one in California is just below Santa Monica and it s the one everyone always talks about. This is mostly because it s right next to Los Angeles. So, a lot more people go there, either because they live in LA or because they re there on vacation. I don t know where would be closer to you, because you don t say where you are. I would think there are as many spring breakers at both locations, since so many east coasters and midwesterners go to Florida for spring break. And, places like Palm Springs or Mexico might be more appealing to west coasters, since it s so much warmer than on the coast that time of year. And no, a 17 year old can t get a hotel room. You have to be 18 at least. And, some nicer or more expensive places might even require you to be older (like 21 or 25).
I wouldn t consider Venice Beach, CA a Spring Break spot for teens. It s expensive and kinda dirty. There are numerous homeless begging for money to buy drugs (at least they re honest), various artists selling their works along the beach path and marginally employed and talented people playing music or being acrobats. Parking is expensive and nonexistent. Then there are the never-ending drum circles on the weekend.... Florida and some Texas beaches (South Padre Island) are known more for their Spring Break party scene than California. The water is too cold in California in the month of March to swim in. You can t get a hotel room at the age of 17.
definetely Venice beach in CA is more well known. it is known for having a wide variety of low end, but uniqe and cool shops and has some of the weirdest people you will ever see, not like creepy weird but interesting. it s a pretty cool place for a day trip during the summer.
Both. Except one doesn t have the word beach in it.Ex:Venice Beach, CAVenice, FLAnd no, a 17 year old can not rent a hotel/motel room.
