Denton is a college town near 2 very large cities, so you won t find major companies in Denton.People in Denton make the less than 1 hour commute to either Dallas or Ft Worth for jobs that pay more than minimum wage.

Not by a long shot. It is much harder to get a job in the midwest like in Detroit or also in parts of California. The unemployment rate in those places is well over 10 percent and it s nowhere near that high in Denton or pretty much anywhere in Texas.

Denton is especiall tough because itsa college town, so there are plenty of kids who are willing to work for beer money, essentially.

i think every city is just about the worst for trying to find a job about now.

I m going to New York a few days before Christmas. I m looking a decent hotel and by decent I mean clean and not in a horrific neighborhood. Obviously, I don t want to break the bank in terms of cost. If this isn t worthwhile, can someone recomment a hotel that is?

I have heard some good things about the place, but I can tell you that it is in good location. It is more of a neighborhood than most hotels and as such you have conveniences like grocery stores and drug stores. You can walk to places like the Empire State Building a half mile away. Times Square is another half mile. Rockefeller center, another half, Central park, another half. Of course you also have easy access to the world s greatest metropolitan transportation system.A half mile in the other direction will put you in Greenwich Village where they have lots of shops and lots of interesting restaurants.

I am supposed to be leaving at 4:30 this wednesday the 25th for St. Louis on the megabus. When I reserved my bus tickets online, I didn t have a printer near by so I wrote down my confirmation numbers on a piece of paper. Is that ok?
