I agree with the other responses, but can help you out with the last question, since it s a bit tricky..The US Capitol was intended and built as the permanent home for the US Congress, with separate wings for the House of Representatives and the Senate. It s still used for that purpose today. The change--and this is a bit tricky--is that the Capitol originally also housed the US Supreme Court. The court moved to their own building on Capitol Hill about 80 years ago. Also, the Capitol originally housed the Library of Congress, which also moved to its own buildings on Capitol Hill decades ago.Good luck with the rest of your assignment!
